genuinely some of the worst service i have ever received at a restaurant – after i ordered, the server only dropped off food, didn’t speak and walked away immediately and did not stop back to refill empty drinks or ask if everything was good. as a server myself, this was disappointing, especially because i could have used a refill on my drink and some more lime for my pho despite this, the food was amazing so i will return to give it another shot.

My first visit here. I had a dish where you make your own rice paper rolls with a protein. I had pork and it came with peanuts, carrots, watercress, cucumber, rice and a sweet mild fish sauce. It was delicious and fun. I didn’t finish and for my to go box they included a fresh container of the dipping sauce so I was able to have the exact same thing again at home.

Ordered from UberEats and there was a cockroach crawling around in my bowl! Noticed it when I was picking out some questionable-looking raw meat, I’m glad I didn’t pour in the broth and eat it. So gross!!!

I got the Dac Biet pho, the broth was very good, rich and flavorful, but the beef was very very dry, not many pieces of tripe. For the price, I’d come again for a quick, casual, decent meal, but it’s not the best of the best Vietnamese food.

They do not sell sides of plain white rice to go with the pho. I tried on GrubHub but it’s not on the menu. HONESTLY!!!!!

Lemongrass is always a good place for lunch at a reasonable price.
The lunch special menu is still a great deal, especially being in Brookline.
Vermicelli Bun is delicious and can’t go wrong, or a pork chop rice plate.

The food is really reasonably priced and great. The bar is hyper underrated. Cocktails are pretty affordable and also great. It’s easily my favorite place for a drink in Brookline.
