Pho Le in Richmond Hill is a great find if you want a cleaner, more modern vibe than your typical noodle shop. The place is well-decorated and the staff keep things professional by wearing masks and gloves, which makes the whole experience feel a lot more hygienic. The broth is the highlight-flavorful and aromatic without being a salt bomb. Since the location is so convenient, it’s a solid “go-to” whenever I’m in the area and craving a reliable bowl of pho.

Solid flavour, decent service, and ample parking (at 3 pm on a Sunday).

The Original Laksa was flavourful with ample protein. Highly recommend for seafood lovers. Came in at $16.00.

Pho Dac Biet (special pho) – medium sized – for $16.50 was alright. If you look around, you might find similar portions for $2 or so cheaper elsewhere, but the quality here is quite respectable.

If you can appreciate the subtle flavours and quality of the noodles and broth – then this might be your spot.

If you’re more about value and want to get your money’s worth in portion size, then this might not necessarily be the top choice.

Other reviews have raved about the service; I found it similar to other pho places, which is to say it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t necessarily spectacular – good enough.

My rating is based on what it would take for me to come back.
LEGEND: I’ll be back…
1: Only if I’m being paid to eat here (ex. work)
2: Only if a friend is treating (or ↑; being paid)
3: Only if on a promo/discount (or ↑; friend pays)
4: If it’s nearby or on the way (or ↑; promo)
5: As soon as I crave this cuisine (or ↑)

This is a true “3” for me, but in the spirit of supporting local businesses, we’re rounding up to a 5.

Excellent Vietnamese restaurant. Place is nice and clean. I ordered the combo set of Pho and the fish sauce glazed wing. The wings were fantastic, plump and juicy and delicious with the garlic chips sprinkle on top. Pho is just ok, bit under seasoned for my taste. Their Vietnamese drop coffee is very good. I’ll probably be back to try other thing on the menu.

This was my go-to pho spot when I used to work nearby. I love their pho + side combo that is just the right portion size for myself. Their broth is always so flavourful and aromatic. Their wings are absolutely the best I’ve ever at pho places, just the right amount of sweet and savoury. Thai milk tea wasn’t too sweet, a great way to top off the meal. Definitely recommend!

A Must-Try Combo Plate: Grilled Pork, Sliced Beef, and Lemongrass Chicken with a Perfect Runny Egg
Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
I recently visited a Vietnamese restaurant and ordered their Combo Rice Plate, which included grilled pork chops, sliced marinated beef, and grilled lemongrass chicken. It also came with a perfect sunny-side-up egg on top of fragrant broken rice, a small side salad with pickled daikon and carrots, and fresh cucumber and tomato slices. The meal was absolutely delicious and well worth the price.
The grilled pork chops were the highlight for me—they were incredibly tender and savory, with a smoky, slightly sweet glaze that tasted just right. The chopped scallions on top added a nice fresh pop. The sliced beef was also very good—well-seasoned and perfectly cooked, with a savory, almost caramelized flavor that I loved. The lemongrass chicken was another standout—it was juicy and packed with fragrant lemongrass and garlic notes, without being overpowering.
The sunny-side-up egg on top was cooked perfectly, with a beautiful runny yolk that I broke and mixed into the rice. It added a creamy, rich texture to the dish that balanced the savory flavors perfectly. The broken rice was also very good—it was cooked just right and had that distinctive nutty, fragrant taste that I love in Vietnamese cuisine.
The side salad and fresh vegetables provided a nice crunch and acidity to the meal, balancing out the richness of the meat and egg. The pickled daikon and carrots were tangy and sweet, and the cucumber and tomato slices were fresh and crisp.
I also tried the Vietnamese dipping sauce (nuoc cham) that came with the meal, and it was excellent. It had the perfect balance of salty, sweet, sour, and spicy, and it really enhanced the flavors of the meat and rice.
Overall, I was extremely impressed with this Combo Rice Plate. It was a well-composed dish with delicious, high-quality ingredients and perfect executed flavors. The portion size was also very generous, making it a great value for the price. I would highly recommend this dish to anyone looking for an authentic and satisfying Vietnamese meal.

The food was tasty, but the service was lacking. We ordered at 9 pm and waited over 20 minutes while tables around us were served first. It seems they prioritize Pho orders, while everything else—including appetizers—takes much longer. I wish the staff had been more proactive in informing us about the wait.

Michelin recommended. We did the New Year feast which was such a good deal. Food was excellent but nothing outstanding than normal. Really enjoyed the drinks and spring rolls. Service was ok. Cash or debit only.

Come here during holiday break to try their feast menu. It was a good deal and the portion is good for our family of 4. Overall the food are delicious, but there’s still some drawbacks. The deep fried items on the appetizer platter definitely way overcooked. The grilled chicken is actually a bit spicy (may not be good for kids). Comes with three drinks but I didn’t take photos. Will likely return again for lunch special in future.

A bit of a wait to get in at noon. We ordered the Holiday feast package and it’s excellent value. We chose the bun rieu with soft shell crab, pho suon bo (with the rib) and grilled pork vermicelli, the appetiser platter. Everything was excellent and we highly recommend the drinks sth salty milk foam on top!
