This place is awesome. I’ve tried their P1(pho tai) it was good but this time I was looking for something spicy I opted for their B1(spicy beef noodle soup) it was so flavorful, it was spicy but the spice was not over powering. I personally prefer the vermicelli noodle rather than the pho. The M1(fried egg rolls) were mouthwatering especially when paired with their homemade fish sauce. YUM!! . MENU UPDATED 1/30/26

Probably One Of The Worst Place I’ve Ever Tried. For $5.99, you get a super small size spring roll which wasn’t worth my money. I’ve seen a bigger portion w/ that price. Bahn Mi overfilled w/ mayonnaise. Pho was the worst. Very bland & wrong noodles used. Would not come back at all. This is not Vietnamese food. After reading others review, I should have read them before I came. Cheap quality. Cheap food. Price does not match any of the food at all.

I’ve given this place a few chances. The last one i had a to-go order that i picked up quickly. My food was lukewarm (had to heat it up again after a 3 minute drive) and the broth lacking flavor. They were out of several items as well. They’re very nice people though.

The place was nice, staff was very friendly and my Togo order was ready in a timely manner. I took one star because the everything Pho bowl I ordered did not taste like Pho that I am familiar with and was missing items (Tripe, beef tip, real meatballs) that I am used to having in Pho. The price was normal, the amount of brother was less than normal. Nice place, however I like my Pho a certain way, so I’ll be finding another Pho shop.

Back in 2013 I had awful pho. Anything foreign in Springfield was an awful imitation so coming into pho kim I was nervous but made myself try it after all it’s ten years and their diversity is improving so maybe they are better. I’m glad I tried this out! While not as bomb as pho hoa this place can run with any SD pho place easily. Total recommend if your away from home and need authentic food for a modest price.

I got the chicken pho. It was really good! I like the portion size and price better than another restaurant in town. I’m not sure what the brown sauce is for, but I put a little bit in my soup. Cute place but I didn’t see a bathroom and I needed to wash my hands. I had a little trouble understanding their accent but that is understandable! I’m sure I’ll be back! Thanks!

The waiter was nice and it wasn’t busy. We received service as soon as we sat down. The only issue I had was the time it took to recieve our vegetable and spring rolls. We were halfway through our pho before we received them. The food was good and the pricing was fair. The mango smoothie was good as well, but received it after I already had my food.

Pho Kim – Where the Broth Runs Deep

Pho Kim, tucked away in a nondescript corner of Springfield, is the kind of place that doesn’t bother with fancy decor or gimmicks. It’s a no-bullshit Vietnamese joint where the focus is squarely on the food, and thank God for that.

The star of the show, as it should be, is the Pho. The broth, a labor of love, simmers for hours, coaxing every ounce of flavor from beef bones and aromatic spices. It’s the kind of broth that warms you from the inside out, a restorative elixir for the soul. The noodles, soft and slippery, are perfect for slurping, and the accompanying herbs and bean sprouts add a welcome freshness and crunch.

I opted for the Pho Ga, the chicken Pho, and it didn’t disappoint. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the broth was light yet rich, with a hint of ginger and star anise. It’s the kind of dish that makes you want to lick the bowl clean, and I almost did, much to the amusement of the old Vietnamese lady at the next table.

The service is efficient and friendly, the kind you’d expect from a family-run establishment. The owner, Kim Mai, is a force of nature, flitting between tables, making sure everyone is well-fed and happy. She’s got a sharp wit and a warm smile, and her passion for food is infectious.

Pho Kim is the kind of place I’d happily return to, a reminder that sometimes, the best food is found in the most unassuming places. It’s a testament to the power of simple, honest cooking, done with heart and soul.

Sunday Lunch with Mom! This is the second time we have visited the quaint restaurant. 10 tables with a capacity of 46, this special place is clearly family run. The food is so fresh – the Spring Rolls are a must try! The Pho is delicious. This trip Mom had the Pho-Chay (vegetables and tofu in a vegan broth), while I opted for the Pho-Tom (shrimp) with the side plate of bean sprouts, lime, jalapeño, and basil. Tasty! Highly recommend!
