I came here just to on a whim, and wow! So good! I got the grilled pork vermicelli bowl and a side of the grilled pork spring rolls. The meat was tender, the veggies were fresh, and the service was so on top of things. The bowl was such a sizable portion that I ended up taking the spring rolls to go.
Let’s start with the summer rolls—dry as cardboard! The staff insisted they were made fresh, but I have my doubts. When it comes to pho, I was disappointed to find several questionable pieces of meat. It’s clear that freshness isn’t a priority here. The soup is pre-assembled, so you can’t really evaluate the quality before adding it to the broth.
On a positive note, the broth itself has a lovely flavor, which I appreciated. However, as a southern girl who enjoys some heat in my food, I was surprised to find they charge $0.50 for each container of chili oil. And to top it off, you have to pay upfront, which can lead to unexpected costs by the end of your meal.
The Thai tea was the smallest serving I’ve ever seen, and the pho noodles were a mix of gummy and chewy textures, suggesting a lack of consistency in their freshness. It felt like they were using a combination of fresh and older noodles, which really detracted from the experience.
This is what happens when a delicate cuisine like Vietnamese food gets turned into a franchise. For a truly satisfying meal, I highly recommend visiting the authentic Vietnamese restaurant at 4302 Bryan St. in Dallas, TX 75204. You’ll thank me later!

Let me tell you about my favorite pho place in Dallas – the one I visit at least once a week because I just can’t get enough.
The broth here is nothing short of incredible – deep, flavorful, and absolutely soul-warming. My usual order is the chicken pho with chili oil, and every single time it hits the spot perfectly.
What makes this place stand out:
– They always hook me up with extra onions when I ask (and I always ask)
– The bamboo shoots and mint leaves come neatly packed separately so everything stays fresh
– They include a disposable soup spoon which makes enjoying the broth so much easier
– The portion size is ideal – satisfying but never overwhelming
This is hands down my comfort food spot. The consistency is amazing – I’ve never had a bad bowl here. If you’re in Dallas and love pho, you owe it to yourself to try this place. Just be warned: one visit and you’ll be hooked like I am!
**Best pho in town – no question.**
I just had a fantastic meal at Pho is for Lovers. The pork banh mi was everything you’d want—crispy, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The beef pho had a rich broth and perfectly tender beef. The fried shrimp rolls were a crispy, delicious treat that I couldn’t get enough of.
The Thai tea was creamy and refreshing, while the passion fruit juice had a bright, tropical taste that complemented the meal. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the place was spotless, including the restrooms. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food, this is your spot!
