I was not really impressed the first time I came, so this place has grown on me a lot. My parents really like to come here so I had to give it another try. The pho is not the best for me, but it’s pretty good for the price and what you get, so this makes it one of the best places to get pho. The Pho Ap Chao was nice and crispy, my only issue was that I like my noodles covered in sauce so I get a balance of crunch and sauce but overall very good. The crispy noodles seafood combo was very nice, crispy and saucy to give you a nice balance of crunch and softness. So I’ve had my mind changed, people, if you want good Viet food with good prices, this place is a must visit. It’s also not usually crowded so it’s like a hidden gem.
Came with my parents and got the Bo Luc Lac (Shaken beef). It was delicious and they give really good portions!! The beef was soft and flavorful. I will definitely come back for this dish!

Fast service, good portions, fair price. Water was from a water bottle which I found odd but I didn’t mind. I got beef pho and the flavor from the broth was good, though not as strong as I prefer. All of the vegetables were nice and fresh. Wait staff was friendly and prompt.

This place really hit the spot! We got the small hot pot for $60—plenty for three folks—and it came packed with beef slices, shank, tendon, meatballs, omasum, and tripe. The plum-like dipping sauce was sweet, tangy, and super refreshing.
Staff was real friendly, kept checking on us, and even topped off our soup without asking. We’ll be back for sure!

Service is excellent. Food is excellent. Decor is spartan but gives the restaurant an airy, spacious, feel that is very welcoming. Also of note is this is one of the cleanest restaurants.
Bun Bo Hue was delicious. Spicy, flavorful, with generous portions of meats.
Vietnamese ice coffee is intensely flavorful and is served in a generously sized sealed plastic cup.
Spring rolls are wrapped in super thin rice wrapper with an excellent balance of veggies, vermicelli, and shrimp.
Beef Brisket and Beef Ball Pho – soup base here has a distinctive flavor. It is light, but surprisingly rich.

We always see this place heading to Chinatown. Today we stopped in for dinner. Everything was perfect! We ordered, Beef and Mushroom, Combination Fried Rice, Combination Pho, Fried Dumplings and Spring Rolls. Customer service was awesome. Loved our waiters humor. We had a late dinner and seemed to get extra attention. We had more than one person check on us to make sure all was well. Great prices as well. Thanks! We will return!

Some of the best (rib-eye round steak)Beef Pho I’ve had in Austin! The broth is perfectly seasoned & they use serranos as their choice of peppers for garnish (my favorite). I’ve had a ton of variations of pho & this is a new favorite. The sweet & sour chicken was piping hot & so good. The spring rolls were good, i’m not into iceberg lettuce so it was just personal preference. My husband loved them. The owner Mr. Tran, his father & staff are the sweetest! So helpful, kind & helpful. Their credit card machine was down (not a problem) so they currently take cash, Venmo & Zelle for digital payments. Highly recommend & will definitely be back!

Tried the beef hotpot here and I’m in love. Fresh cut beef planks, tendon, tripe, meatballs and intestine were fully flavored up in the boiling hot chili soup. The rice noodles that came with the hotpot is topped with crispy garlic and garlic oil. The portion is more than enough to feed 3 people.

Ordered the beef hot pot special. Came with beef brisket, shank, stomach, meatballs, intestine, slices of flank, vegetables with tofu, and your choice of rice or egg noodles. They give you this tangy (sriracha mayo?) sauce that pairs perfectly with all the beef items. The soup base was a richer pho broth that contained bonus pork bones at the bottom. The beef intestine was filled with what seemed like bone marrow which allowed it to absorb the soup and hold more flavor. Quality beef ingredients. Feeds 2-4 people or a filling meal for two with leftovers. Most diners had this hot pot on their tables on Saturday night. Might want to call ahead to order to avoid a long wait time.
