Warmness on the soul. Pho was rich in protein and full of that good collagen from the bone broth for my joints. This is comfort food. The herbs and spices such as anise and coriander were also revitalizing. Love how they have that authentic hot chili oil on the side too. Nice portion size for a large. Restaurant was very busy on Sunday at noon but service is efficient and the place is clean. Would love to return!

Very authentic Vietnamese food in an Asian plaza. The food was great!! Had the pho, short rib and pork chop!! All were cocked perfectly to my liking. Got the little ones a spring roll they really enjoyed it. The broth in the pho was very tasty also, we will be back next time we are in Philly .

Recent reviews of this restaurant seem to be fairly negative, but I still came here to try their bun bo hue. I thought it to be flavorful, and the hock fell right off the bone! They gave me so much meat that I had to put some off to the side to finish the noodles. Fair price as well given how big the portion is.
The restaurant itself is big with plenty of seating and staff going around to wait on you. Service was quick as well. Did not see any bugs or other things in my food parking is fairly difficult to find here on weekends even with the free lot, but the plaza itself is pretty empty on weekdays.

didn’t think i wanted pho until i had pho
this was good and the portion was HUGE. i initially thought it was gonna be spicy, but the shank was tender and fall-off-the-bone, the soup itself was warm, comforting, and tasty. the orange coloring was only meant to scare…me, i guess. if you like viet food and despise mint, basil, beansprouts, and cilantro, you’re missing out mixing them in for the full experience ♀️

This place is average. I had the beef brisket, well done flank, and fat flank pho. The broth was not as rich as I would have hoped. I never thought I’d complain of having too much meat but because it was not good I just wanted it gone. The meat was very dry and bland. The service was quick and methodical. I did not finish the bowl not because I was full but because I didn’t like it and could not finish it. I tried to eat everything but the meat.

5 stars for service. They servers will greet and seat you promptly, take your order efficiently and food came quick. They also open early, which is a plus. However;taste wise is 6.5/10. The flavor isn’t strong enough that will blow your mind, but the price isn’t crazy expensive like other restaurants in the area, so I’ll take it.

Bustling neighborhood vietnamese restaurant with top-tier service and talented chefs.
There was a small error in our order, but it was resolved promptly and politely. My husband and I enjoyed the complimentary tea and hospitality almost as much as the delicious meal!
Update: Took a second trip to try the Pho on a chilly day that called for soup. To be honest, I much prefer the grilled chicken vermicelli I had last time to their Pho, but it wasn’t bad. The broth could be a little more flavorful, but ingredients were fresh and the medium bowl is a huge serving for the price.

The best Viet vermicelli and coffee I’ve had in quite some time. Washington Ave is packed with great food, but this is one of my favorite experiences in a while. Service was exceptionally fast as well.

To start off my family used to eat here all the time since I was a kid (past 20 years). We decided to stop by since we were in philly. The pho we had was ok, best part was the rice noodles. The meat and beef balls were very corse/tough like it’s been reheated multiple times. The soup was meh, made our throats really dry. We decided to order take out on the rice platters thinking it may be better? When the server handed us the take out bags I noticed how light it was but gave the benefit of doubt and just paid plus tipped the 2 phos we ate and tipped for our takeouts. When I got home and saw they cut back on half of everything it was sad (rice, meat, even the egg loaf. You can see the sunny side up egg about the size of the entire meat for comparison. The one piece of lettuce took up 1/3 of the container. The egg loaf was so thin and the they flattened out the rice to fill up the container. Taste : not sure as that was supposed to be our lunches tomorrow for work but I combined both platters into one to make it a decent lunch for my husband. Overall extremely disappointed they skimped out on quality and the portions. We don’t mind paying higher prices but the food and quality should be better. The place was also pretty empty which says a lot. Staff was pretty friendly so that was good.

Definitely one of the best pho in the Philly region. Broth is very flavorful and they give plenty of meat with the pho. Ordered the steak, well done brisket and fatty brisket pho with extra noodles. Both kids and adults liked the pho. Spring rolls were just ok so probably wouldn’t order that again.
