Pho Go is located in the Old Avon Village Plaza. It’s a fast casual Vietnamese restaurant with a handful of tables. I ordered food on their website before picking up. The food was ready when I got there.
I went for the vermicelli noodles and grilled pork, it was very good. The only downfall were the portions. We also had dumplings which were tasty. The food tasted flavorful and authentic. It’s definitely up there with one of my favorites in the area in terms of flavor.

For a place that advertises itself as “authentic Vietnamese cuisine” this is kind of a joke. The soup was served in plastic bowls, these are chronic bowls. It is much better. There was a shortage of sriracha sauce on the table.
The sauce was poured into a small round bowl that had a little sriracha sauce and a lot of soy sweet sauce. The rice vermicelli was small and did not taste like normal pho soup.
The bean sprouts were not fresh. It tasted normal, a little sweet.
As for customer service, the staff was very friendly and happy, the place seems very clean and has a very calm environment.

The owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! Great music playing in the restaurant- affordable and tasty lunch options with large portions! perfect place to stop when you’re in the area! They also have contact free ordering and payment in store! like ordering on an XXL iPad- Super cool!
I recommend the pork spring rolls – great fish sauce (not too fermented, perfect for first-timers) I can’t say enough about this place. 10/10.

I don’t usually see a fast-casual Vietnamese spot, so I was glad to find PhoGo. Their pho was good, but I was intrigued by the flavor of cinnamon or cloves that I was getting, and some of my favorite things I tried there were the pork chop meal and their creamy cilantro sauce – I could’ve easily taken a bottle of that home! The noodle bowl, salad, spring roll, and egg roll were all great too. The dumplings had just a little bit too much black pepper for my personal preference, and the bubble teas also tasted artificial. I was so surprised when I learned that they had tacos and wings on the menu – not something I expected, but they were good! The sauce on the wings was tangy and had a good flavor. If I lived or worked nearby, I could definitely see myself popping in for a pork chop meal or noodle bowl.

This place is a great spot for Vietnamese comfort food. The chicken pho is warm, flavorful, and comforting with a light but tasty broth that’s perfect any time of year. The spring rolls are fresh and crisp, served with a really good dipping sauce that adds just the right amount of flavor.

For a place that advertises as “Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine” its kind of a joke, the food is very white washed. The food tastes good as a regular sandwich or a spin off fresh spring roll but I don’t know if the owners of this restaurant have ever had authentic Pork Banh Mi or Fresh Spring rolls in their life. Its like an American spin off, there wasn’t any daikon in the sandwich, the carrots are grated small not crunchy at all, the bread is definitely not Vietnamese bread, just regular bread, they didn’t even know what patté was. The “FreshSpring Rolls” were filled with lettuce instead of cabbage, and again with the grated carrots, and hardly any noodles, the “sauce” for the rolls tasted like apple cider vinegar salad dressing not a peanut sauce. l asked for extra veggies on the sandwich… I can only imagine what it would have tasted like without asking for extra because for the size of the bread in comparison to the filling.. I was disappointed. If you want Americanized Vietnamese food this is the place for you. Don’t get me wrong the food doesn’t bad but it’s not “Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine.”
Customer service wise the staff was very friendly and happy, the place seems very clean and has a very calm environment.

Great tasting food. Parking can be difficult with larger vehicles so don’t hesitate to drive up and around Pho Go. More spaces around. Two doors to get in. Small inside with a couple tables and chairs. Nice patio outside with four plus tables and chairs. Order by kiosk but they will answer any questions. Professional and Friendly. Will bring your food to you if dining in. Rice bowl with shrimp and side of six dumplings. $15 for bowl. The bowl fills you up. Cilantro sauce with lime is delicious. Also had bubble tea with almond milk and classic tapioca pearls. Excellent. Yeah I dug into the bowl. Couldn’t resist.

BEST PHO IN CT. Good price. Quick. Lovely outdoor dining atmosphere. Respectful, kind, and dedicated owner made it all the better. Gave us a free cilantro rice chicken veggie sample since she knew we came from far away. Come here if you want a deeply fulfilling life experience.
