We needed a soup fix while in Rockwall, and wanted to believe there was good Phô around…
We found this place at the Rockwall Village shopping mall, where all the little shops were scrunched up together.
Coming in at first, the place was full of non-Asians, which was immediately sus IMO. We were too tired to find another place and gave it a shot.
For starters, all the smaller tables were dirty, and it looked like they just had a rush of customers finish their meals…a good sign, maybe.
We ordered their Pork egg rolls, a Chicken and Pork Banh mi, the Beef stew with French bread, the Pho Garden, plus a Kids Beef Pho since we just had lunch at a friend’s place.
The overall feel of each dish we tried was SWEET. Perhaps it was the ratio of carrots to meat in the eggrolls, or the rock sugar in the Pho broth, even the Bo Kho was too sweet. It reminded me more of the canned Beef Stew in my childhood from Ma-Ling.
We were hoping the Banh mi would wash away the sweetness but it also lacked pâté and jalapeños, and the expectations of crunch in every bite was absent, the bread was only chewy.
The staff was very attentive when taking our orders, and food came out promptly. However, when classic flavors are missing, I would not recommend.

This restaurant has a pretty nice atmosphere and felt very welcoming. It’s a nice place to hangout and eat with friends and the workers are very friendly. We got some spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee and they were really good. Our waitresses Joy was helpful and had a cute smile on her face everytime she comes by to check on us. Vanessa was really fun and easy to talk to. I enjoyed my visit here and will come again soon.

Standard is the word that comes to mind with this restaurant. Pho & spring rolls were middling. Nothing wrong but nothing that stood out. Compared to the banh mi cafe in the same mall area, this one’s cooking & food quality isn’t as good. Its pho portions are larger though. Its shrimp spring rolls & sauce are just meh. Forks & knives are on the table but no napkin dispenser.

This place is a hidden gem here in Rockwall! When all other places are closed for the holiday or a snow day, this place is open and ready to serve it’s customers. The food and service are consistently great and my family and I always enjoy coming here for some great pho, stew and pad thai. Thank you to everyone who works here!

Food great, service was good at the beginning. I saw how the watress treat the other customers so nice, and asked them if they wanted the bill. When it was my turn, she just came and said” here is your bill whenever you are ready “ I was still eating!!! When done with my pho, i was deinking my water and writing this review. Then the other waitress came and put Credit Card machine on the table for me to pay!!! That was it, a no go for this place.

We’ve been eating at this restaurant for 10 or so years, and although it’s gone through some ownership changes along the way, we’ve never once left disappointed!
Splurge for a Bubble Tea while you’re there. I get the coconut version with tapioca pearls.
Great service, food, cleanliness and overall experience. Can’t ask for more!

I was looking for this Pho shop on the map and I was a little worried when I saw the reviews, but I still went to try it and I was pleasantly surprised. I went with my family and ordered two pho. The taste is very good. Their dumplings are very good. The environment is very clean and comfortable. The service is very good. The two girls are very nice. They always ask us if it is delicious. Do we need to add water. I think I will become a regular customer in the future. I will also bring my friends and family there. I forgot to say that boba Thai Tea is my favorite. love you can try

The food was something I’ve never tasted before, the flavors were so different and unlike anything else. Very clean environment, the people are constantly cleaning around. The waitresses are sweet! The eggrolls did threw me off a bit, I didn’t expect that flavor, but other than that, the food was delicious

Pho Garden is the perfect spot on a cold day! Their soup is hot, flavorful, and so comforting — the broth tastes fresh and rich, and it really hits the spot. Definitely my go-to place when I’m craving something warm and delicious.

Not sure why but customers whom came in after me got their food before me even though i ordered simple pho. Experience was okay. Seating was reasonable. Prices were a little high. Service could be better(it took a while for them to refill my drink;food took forever). Food tasted authentic. Spring rolls were too sticky but still tasted good.
