I knew this place was going to be one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have been to. From the moment I entered the strip mall area I could smell the most amazing delicious flavors of beef and pork. On parking, the lot is broken up in the most bizarre way and just skip the smaller lot and park in the next lot.

The restaurant was packed at lunch but it didn’t take more than 3 minutes to be seated. We ordered our lunch and we went with #27 which is the vermicelli with pork and shrimp bowl and #33 which is the same minus the shrimp. We also got fresh spring rolls and fried shrimp rolls. The server brought us water with lime and also poured us a saucer of classic fish sauce. Wow! It was a wonderful blend. When our appetizers came the flavors were top notch. Everything was super fresh. I loved the hoisin peanut sauce they bring to the table. This was a really great meal. Everything fresh and the bowls were crunchy and warm. Spot on flavors with large portions! What a perfect spot for lunch. I’ll be back for sure.

TLDR: Pho was good, portion size was reasonable, restaurant needed to be bussed, employees need to get off phones.

Pho
I had the Pho #9, round & (well done flank I believe), size large.
To address some of the other reviews. Broth: tasted good to me, not watery. Meat: There was a good amount of round/brisket, more than I had expected, and taste was good, especially the flank! Noodles: Good amount. The toppings made it feel fresh. I enjoyed the dish overall, and would order again. Or maybe just get one with the flank, I think that it was the better meat choice.

Atmosphere/Service
The restaurant was generally clean. That said, for 40 minutes I got to stare at two tables that had not been cleared (pic), even with numerous empty-handed employees walking by. Not terrible, but takes away from the ambience when one stares at garbage for most of their meal.
To this point, to the employee doom scrolling on his phone in the middle of the dining room, I would suggest clearing tables.
To further the point, to the other employee doom scrolling in the corner of the bathroom (hiding?), pick up the trash (paper towels) on the bathroom floor.

Was my first time coming here. I was in town for the weekend and decided to check it out with my friends. Small and quaint mom and pop spot. The Pho was delicious and so was the BBQ pork and spring rolls. Would definitely go back

If you want authentic Vietnamese then look no farther than Pho Dai Loi. My husband and I had our first date there over nine years ago (Sep 2016). We go periodically for great pho and other classic dishes including the shrimp stuffed roll seen in the photos.

My go to Vietnamese spot whenever I’m in the area. This most recent trip I was in town visiting with the Forest Park church of Christ. Food is great, service is great and fast. Servings size is big which I enjoy. I look forward to when I’m in the area again and will definitely stop by here again

A nice ambiance, spacious, great service, and plenty of seating. Everything is to the best of my memory. The fried shrimp and brown egg roll were moist and crispy. You can definitely taste a freshness in the spring roll and works well with the peanut sauce. My large Pho (soup) with turkey and beef was filling and fulfilling . You can add some halopinos for some extra kick and the fresh vegetables are a nice finish. It was a great meal and I will be back.

This is an excellent and authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The food is tasty and plentiful and the serves are kind, patient and willing to explain if you have any questions. The phó is always a hit and the lemongrass chicken is out of this word….did I mention the portions are large? The shakes are to die for. We always get them to go to sip on in the car. The Vietnamese iced coffee…wow! Sweet, rich, great expresso taste. Been visiting since 2000.

Pho is very good and hot and fresh!!! I didn’t know how to eat it my first time going and they showed me. I would’ve never added the sauces that are at the table but now I can’t eat it without them! I’ve been coming here pre pandemic okay so for yearsssss! So good in fact I’ve never even tried any other pho restaurants in my area. The spring/egg rolls have ALWAYS been fresh and so good! Their boba is a must have to take out at the end of my meal. Just very good authentic pho. I mixed it if the area 3 years ago and live 40 mins away yet this is one of the VERY FEW restaurants I go to & a staple!!!!

I’ve been dining here since 2008, but this is the first time I’m leaving a review, and it’s long overdue. Unfortunately, the food has become inconsistent. Over the years, there have been multiple issues with my orders–flavors off, ingredients missing–and as someone who knows how to cook this food myself, I can say it just doesn’t measure up to authentic Vietnamese pho. To make matters worse, it’s clear that the restaurant hasn’t made any updates or improvements since 2008, which says a lot about the lack of attention to kitchen and service operations. The food and service now feel stale, and frankly, I won’t be coming back. If you’re looking for top-notch pho, VN Pho down the street is a far better choice-l highly recommend them.
