This place was a major disappointment for both me and my wife. My beef special pho came out cold, even though I noticed other bowls were steaming hot. I was also expecting the tofu to be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, but it was soft all the way through — another letdown. It felt like they got overconfident and let the quality slip just because the restaurant was packed. We won’t be coming back. Continue ..,,,, my daughter found a piece of hair on her chicken wings and it was stuck there. See photos .

We came just about 45 mins before its closing time but the place is still packed and busy. Pretty standard Vietnamese menu: pho, rice vermicelli, rice with meat options. Ordered a few pho and it was delicious, lots of meat, portion was big. Service was very fast and efficient. Interesting that they used lemon instead of lime. You can ask for cut chilli if you want a bit of heat.

Ordered a smoothie take away. I had to wait for 30 minutes and asked twice about my order. Apparently, my drink was done 10 minutes ago but no one brought it out to the front counter. There were just one waitress and front house waitress. The restaurant was very busy. Management should employ extra waiters to deal with this issue. I’m sure I’m not only one unhappy customer. It was lunchtime Friday

I think this place can be hits and misses for some. To me it was a miss honestly because i would feel my country serves better pho nowadays. Might be really good about 10 years ago but now perhaps its not a must to head here. Also, after 30 mins we felt very thirsty so there might be lots of msg added to the pho soup. Beef slices were also tough. To take note for friends who cant take msg. For salad, it was a meh; pork slices were too tough, sauce was not fantastic. Overall its a no go for me.

I went to Mekong restaurant to try the pho, and I found it quite average — about 6.5/10. It didn’t really impress me. However, what stood out the most was the poor attitude of one of the staff members. When I politely asked if my order had been confirmed, the staff member slammed the serving tray on the table and showed a bad attitude. I’m certain I asked in a polite way.

The second time, I was unsure about where to pay because there was a computer behind the counter, so I politely asked to clarify — but the same staff member still showed attitude. The staff member’s name tag started with the letter “R…”. I think the restaurant should be fix that.

Out And About

We tried this not long ago and had a quick meal and it was so delicious that we are back here again to try more. We ordered the traditional rare beef Pho, Spring Rolls, Charcoal Grilled Chicken with rice and Avocado as a drink. The Pho did not disappoint- the broth is inviting and has a depth of that feeling of goodness from a home made beef broth. Divine. Our Spring Rolls came out Hot, so be careful. It tasted like there were more vegetables in the filling, than meat, like we’re used to, but still tasty. The Charcoal chicken was seasoned well and paired well with the rice and side salad. Overall so enjoyable, we’ll be back again

The vibe here feels very retro and has a nostalgic quality. The restaurant is clean and you can order from the table.

I ordered beef and beef ball pho with a side of 2 Chinese donuts. The food was good and filling. I enjoyed the hot tea that was also provided with the meal. The food was priced at what I would expect.

I would return, definitely a nice pace to eat at on a cold and rainy day.

fantastic food, only had to wait 15mins in line with a full house. ordered with QR code and received our pho within 5 minutes, and vermacelli shortly after with fresh hot spring roles. friendly and efficient staff, everything was absolutely delicious and affordable. will definitely be coming back!!
