On the side, we ordered South Dakota roll, which was good, and spring rolls… which I do not want to believe that I paid 8 dollars on. They were more like loose noodle rolls, with rice noodles taking up 3/4 of the filling, along with a piece of lettuce, few pieces of mint leaves, tiny cucumber slices, and couple thin slices of meat and shrimp. I gulped one down as soon as I got home, but when I took a bite into the second one, I found out that the shrimp was not thoroughly cooked as shown in the picture. I checked that all the other pieces have RAW and GRAY shrimp slices so I ended up throwing all away.
For a pickup of 2 combo pho (w a piece of tripe, 3 quarters of meatball, well-done briskets, no rare beef, and hella bean sprouts, jalapenos, onions, cilantro, and mint/basil), a $10 roll, and 2 pieces of noodle rolls, the total came out to be ~$49, which can cover 3 reg size pho (w more tripe, rare beef, 2 meatballs), thicc greeny spring rolls, and 2 glasses of thai tea at the authentic pho restaurants!! Food prices are higher in store for this restaurant than on delivery apps, so the total will come out almost the same either way (There was only $5 difference in mine). Just noticed that the price shown on Yelp is lower than in store menu, too.
Restaurant itself doesn’t deserve any star, so the lone star goes to Gabby, their hostess, for her beautiful hospitality and her knowledge on the menu. I’m sorry. I told you I’d tip you better next time, but it seems like there’s no next time.
I decided tonight would be a good night to have some hot pho with it being pretty chilly outside.
When you walk in, you quickly realize the inside makes you forget what side of town you’re in.
The portion sizes are good and the presentation is even better.
I had the combination pho bowl, it was delicious . Spring Rolls were hefty.
Ordered a Virginia roll which was very good as well
We also ordered a Dinner Box, which had teriyaki chicken on a bed of veggies, white rice, tempura, 2 pieces of sushi and cabbage salad. The Dinner Box also came with miso soup . The entire meal was very very good. The service was excellent (but we were there late, so we were the only ones there)
Pricing is a tad high, but typically this type of cuisine is.
Overall if I had to give a score 1 out of a 100, it gets an 85.
Grade wise, I’d give it a B+.
I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
Wishing this new business MUCH SUCCESS!!
If you want quick sushi, then yes, visit the location.
I would only go if I have a craving. I would not reccomend the location as a to go place for dinner.
