There was definitely no WoW factor in the Pho. I love the ones I can just drink it up when im done. This is the place if you want quantity, they do give lots of it. Our rice plate was OK. Im so used ti the thicker cuts, this was pretty thin. The water tasted too sink water for me. The location, parking and inside ambiance is nice.

Not the typical authentic bowl of Pho or Bun Bo Hue. Very light on the flavor and seasoning. I would try a different restaurant next time I’m in New Orleans.

First time eating here. The food was very flavorful and delicious! And with the amount of food you get, I didn’t feel like it was over priced.
The wait staff was fast and friendly. This will be a nice place to add to my monthly workday lunch rotation.

Pho Bang is my FAVORITE- easily THE best pho I’ve had in the states!!! Even though I’ve moved away from New Orleans, I always come back here whenever I’m in town. I always order the tofu pho with beef broth; the broth is so flavorful and rich. The tofu rolls are great, and the pho tai chin has tender meat with good portions. I think about this pho all the time… I used to visit every Friday night for a hot bowl of Pho even in the summer… I can’t recommend Pho Bang enough—don’t forget to try it with the chili oil. Best pho ever~~~
P.s. the other location at Gretna is just as good!

We were told about Pho Bằng when visited New Orleans so we went to have breakfast. There were no “wow” but everything was good.

Fantastic Pho, and wonderful Bun Bo Bue(which is served Saturday and Sunday) can be had here! They are very generous with the portions and load it up with meat which was so tasty! The broth is amazing and flavorful as well, very full bodied! Everything else on the menu looked good too, but we were in the mood for soup. The waitress who served us was very friendly too, and always checked in on us and made us feel welcome.

Family friendly and family owned vibes from this place. Went there on a Monday night. The service was quick and polite. I loved my iced Jasmine tea and my partner got a frozen thai tea that was great. Highly reccomened the spring rolls. I don’t think I’ve had better Pho anywhere. I also thoroughly enjoyed the rice vermacelli bowl. The chili oil on the tables is amazing, but it’s much hotter than what you’re getting at a grocery store so be warned.

This Pho Bang location is top notch from the food, service and atmosphere. The entire staff treat a group of us that dine there weekly like family. They know our names and our favorite dishes. I can’t say enough about the place. It’s always a pleasure to have a meal there.
I definitely recommend it to family, friends and acquaintances often.
The cold months are right around the corner, stop by and see for yourself.

This is my second visit as the first one was very good. On my last visit I asked waitress if on my next visit if I ordered the beef shank stew would the meat be tender.I know as a cook shank meat needs to cook long and slow. She assured me it was. So now I came back for it. While the soup tasted good, the meat was not eatable because it was so tuff I could not cut it with a saw blade knife, let alone stick a fork in it. I left a pile of the meat on a dish to have staff see that I couldn’t eat it, it was so tuff. They said they’d let the boss know. I’m not giving up on the place and I’ll be back to try other items.

The best pho in Metairie hands down. Service is always amazing and the staff is very attentive and kind. Sometimes I sit down and they’ll know exactly what I want without saying anything and I think that’s an undeniable sign of a staff who cares. Also the pho is incredibly consistent, manages to warm the tummy and soul.
