Since our beginnings in 2019, we’ve spared no detail in recreating Vietnam’s most famous dishes: From northern Vietnam comes our distinctive beef Pho, with its rich, savoury amber broth made from premium cuts of beef and fresh herbs and spices, simmered for up to 15 hours. From the north, there’s the flavourful pork-based Bun Cha Hanoi; from the coast, there’s Hai Phong’s signature spicy, exciting fish and noodle dish, Bun Cha Ca. Each of our dishes captures the unique history, culture, and environment of the area they came from, making for an unforgettable dining experience.
Noodle soups, grilled pork dishes & other classic Vietnamese eats in a straightforward restaurant.

Spring rolls came within less than five minutes of ordering and five minutes after our meals followed. The Grilled Chicken Vermicelli bowl was amazing as well as the Grilled Pork + Fried Egg Broken Rice, and the Spring Rolls.
The Mango Smoothie and the Vietnamese Iced Coffee was good as well, but more than half of the iced coffee was just ice, I wish the ratio of ice and coffee was better. When ordering next time, I would recommend to ask for less ice.
Other than that, everything was amazing! I will come back to this branch when I am in the area, but I am happy they have other locations to try.
I’ll start by saying that my meal, #48 (grilled pork, vermicelli noodles, and a spring roll) was DELICIOUS and I will be back. My friend’s meal, #49, was the same as mine except that it also had shrimp on sugar cane.
Last night my friend and I ordered our entrées and the large spring rolls as appetizers. When the spring rolls arrived, I looked at the filling and asked her if they had shrimp in them (thinking I maybe somehow missed that on the menu), and she said no, that she didn’t think so, because the menu didn’t say they had shrimp (it has the Vietnamese name, and below it just says “spring rolls”, plus there was a shrimp rolls appetizer listed on the menu next to the spring rolls).
So I put one on my plate, but thankfully hadn’t taken a bite, because a few minutes later when our meals came out and I saw the spring roll in the bowl, I asked the waiter if there was shrimp and he said yes. I was a little horrified and he said “no one told you that?” I said no, and my friend pointed out that it didn’t list it on the menu either (for the appetizer, or even in the description of our entrées, since a spring roll was included there too) and that the spring rolls were for both of us, so we of course wouldn’t have ordered them if we’d known that. He took my plate and had my meal made again; I hate wasting food, but wasn’t comfortable with something with shrimp touching what I’m eating.
They have an icon indicating peanuts on some dishes so I thought that they were very conscious of food allergies, and most restaurants list the ingredients if there’s something that people have a common allergy to. Shellfish allergies are very common, about the same or more common than peanut allergies.
Ultimately the food was SO good, the staff was nice, the decor is gorgeous, but that was a major issue that could’ve gone very badly. I hope that they train their staff to ask about food allergies, or inform customers about the shrimp when they order those dishes that have shrimp but don’t list it (since my friend ordered a meal that was the same as mine but with shrimp, I of course really didn’t expect that my dish would have shrimp in it, in the form of the spring roll). Ideally at some point they would reprint their menus and actually include that there is shrimp in the dishes with shrimp in them, or maybe print stickers that they can put on the menu indicating shrimp, or something.
I gave 4 stars for the service, because within literally the first three minutes that we sat down, we had three different servers come by to ask if we were ready to order, before offering water or anything. The first one was there immediately after weed settled into our chairs. So we felt rushed at the beginning, but I think that was maybe just a lack of communication between the servers or something, and everyone was very friendly. No one stopped by to check on how we were doing during the meal though, and after the shrimp thing I think that would’ve been especially nice. This location is new, so I’m sure they’re just working some things out and next time it’ll be a 5-star experience.
Service: I was seated quickly at a booth as requested, my order was taken right away, and the food arrived promptly. The service was satisfactory. It is also nice to see that the restaurant is owned and operated by Vietnamese staff.
Ambiance: There is plenty of seating and parking available, and the restaurant is conveniently close to Yorkdale Mall. If you are in the mood for Vietnamese food after shopping, this is a great spot to visit.
