This was our first time visiting this very cozy French/Vietnamese restaurant in Avalon Park, and already can’t wait to be back again! The owners Isabelle and Steven were such fantastic hosts, as they made us feel part of their family right away!

The atmosphere is awesome, with a very cute outdoor seating area. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Gyoza dumplings which were perfectly cooked. My wife and I both loved their dry noodles (not dry at all, just no broth), as the flavors were incredible!

This is definitely a little hidden gem in our beautiful community that is Avalon Park. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and loved the atmosphere! Two thumbs way up to Isabelle and Steven for being such incredible hosts! Merci mille fois!!!

Now I know why Pho Akaushi was voted Best Vietnamese Restaurant in Orlando in 2025 — every dish we tried was thoughtful, flavorful, and beautifully executed from start to finish.

We started with the Hanoi Half-Moons, and they were delicious. These Steamed Pork Dumplings were tender and delicate, topped with scallions and paired with a homemade chili oil that added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavors. We also ordered the Summer Fresh Spring Rolls (Goi Cuon), and they were absolutely delicious. These fresh, hand-rolled rice paper rolls were light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced, they’re a must-order appetizer.

The Steamed Edamame with truffle oil was an elevated surprise. Light, perfectly cooked, and subtly indulgent, the truffle oil added a rich, savory depth while still letting the freshness of the edamame shine.

For the main, we ordered the Classic Banh Mi with pork, and it delivered on every level. Served on freshly baked French bread, the flame-grilled pork was juicy and well-seasoned with fragrant herbs and spices. The sandwich was layered with pickled carrots, cilantro, jalapeño, scallions, white onion, fried onions, lettuce, and spicy mayo, creating a perfect balance of crunch, heat, and savory richness.

And of course, the Pho is the star. The broth is fresh, aromatic, and deeply flavorful, tasting like it’s been simmered for hours. Tender meat, perfectly cooked noodles, and scallions, white onions and cilantro make each bowl comforting and customizable.

The Poulet Saigon Rice Platter was a comforting and flavorful standout. The house-marinated grilled chicken was tender, well-seasoned, and served over fragrant coconut jasmine rice, accompanied by lettuce, pickled carrots, cucumber slices, cilantro, and topped with fried onions and scallions. Every bite was satisfying, aromatic, and beautifully composed.

The Love in Bloom Rose Lemonade, was a refreshing, lightly floral drink that was crisp and not overly sweet — the perfect complement to the bold, savory flavors of the meal.

Don’t skip dessert. The daily pastry specials were a wonderful French inspired finish — a Mango Passion Fruit éclair that was light, bright, and perfectly balanced, and a Chocolate Cream Puff pastry that was rich, airy, and indulgent without being too sweet. A delightful surprise that rounded out the meal beautifully. We paired dessert with a Vietnamese Iced Coffee, bold, sweet, and perfectly strong, making it an ideal ending to the meal.

With friendly, efficient service, a spotless dining room, and consistently excellent food, it’s easy to see why Pho Akaushi earned its Best Vietnamese Restaurant in Orlando title! It is definitely worth the drive from downtown to Avalon Park!

If you’re searching for the Best Pho in Orlando, Top Banh Mi, or award-winning Vietnamese food, Pho Akaushi in Avalon Park is a must-visit.

Came in with an open mind and left with a full belly and a new pho spot we love. Family owned place like this is a real treat.

Prices are fair for what you get. The phos might seem expensive but its a good serving and this day and age what is cheap with the quality ingredients you deserve. The ingredients here all very good. Tried a few options. The pho and bahn mi were very good. The spring rolls and cheese ragoons also very solid!

Only minor suggestion I could offer is maybe a little more noodles per pho bowl and perhaps some Thai basil if its available.

We will be back!

Really cute Vietnamese French restaurant. Food is reasonably priced and tastes great. There are vegetarian friendly options on the menu and allergy friendly if you let them know. Service was friendly and the owner, Isabelle, was great to talk to.

This is a chain that originated in California, and their pho is good but not the best. I’ve never been to the California locations, so I don’t know if this is the case there, but their portions are smaller than typical pho restaurants while the prices are higher. This may be because they’re located in Avalon Park. The full menu isn’t out yet, so we’ll have to come back. So far, pho broth is good. I can’t really tell the difference between the Wagyu beef and beef used at other pho restaurants. Egg rolls aren’t too special. Service was friendly.

Edit: Came back 2.5yrs later, and the menu has significantly grown for the better. The pho broth is lighter than other restaurants, but the meats are very tender and flavorful. I wish they gave more vegetables/herbs for the pho. Their homemade gyoza are also very good with a deliciously smoky chili oil sauce. We also love that they have their own patisserie for French desserts. Will definitely be back!
