We ordered takeout and just moved here from the Dallas area and wanted to try a pho spot. Let’s just say we were sooo disappointed.
We ordered two large chicken pho soups so my husband and I could have leftovers, along with a side of egg rolls. The egg rolls were fine. That’s the only thing that gets the stars.
I had more bean sprouts than I did noodles. The noodles were extremely chewy and seemed as if they were not cooked all the way. Yes, I let them set in my broth but that didn’t do much. The chicken was so so dry. How? It was sitting in broth… The flavor was okay but we barely got any food? Like, where were the noodles?? For that price and you get half a serving of noodles? So underwhelming. Would not recommend this.

If you know anything about pho, please skip this place. The people were very nice and everything about the establishment was clean and inviting. However, the portions were half the size as any pho place and very bland. They advertise many different fish in their sea food pho but all I received was 3 or 4 shrimp. The rest was vegetables and including broccoli which is not a Vietnamese vegetable. My daughter had the beef pho and she had the same experience. Half the size and very bland. The meat was tender but it wasn’t the typical pho meat slices. The shrimp spring rolls were good but also small. All in all, if I had the chance of coming again, im afraid I would have to pass.

Local new spot for me – any chance I get to try Vietnamese/asian food, I’m all for it. The front of house lady was extremely nice and took our order for a couple orders of pho & an order of rice with grilled beef. Apps: shrimp spring rolls and fried egg rolls. Spring rolls were nice and chewy with a generous amount of plump shrimp. Fried egg rolls were decent but lacking on meat filling, flavor and veggies (no lettuce wraps, cilantro & pickled carrots). Pho was average – stock was light and needing a bit more flavor oomph. The rice with beef was pretty presentation wise but was very bland 🙁

Excellent food and wonderful service. The menu is small, but every item is executed perfectly.
I ordered a chicken bahn-mi with extra meat, and wow, that sandwich was loaded. The toasted baguette was super fresh, warm, crispy and absorbed the chicken’s amazing marinade.
We also got a rice bowl to go and the staff was super accommodating, and waited to assemble it until we were done dining to prevent it from getting soggy. Top tier customer service.
An honorable mention goes to their Vietnamese iced coffee and their delicious spring rolls.
We can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Cape.

Was served rotten moldy lettuce in my spring roll, and the rice paper was dry and hard, was absolutely disgusting, the lady was very nice and apologetic, …the old balding man I’m assuming her husband was extremely rude, claimed it comes out of the bag like that sometimes and other excuses, absolutely disgusting they would not see that lettuce is rotten. I felt sick after . Would highly recommend going to other pho restaurant downtown or literally anything else.

A really nice Vietnamese restaurant with helpful and friendly staff.
If it’s your first time the menu can be a little confusing and overwhelming, but they will answer any question you may have.
I had the Chicken Noodle Bowl and the chicken was marinated And cooked perfectly!
My girlfriend ordered the chicken Banh Mi, a delicious sandwich.
We both highly recommend it and will be returning.

I was so happy to see a pho restaurant in cape girardeau mo while here I’m from San Francisco CA so this was nice and way less expensive. We paid less than $50 and in SF it would of been over 70.
Very nice people and nice service and their veitamenesse coffee was good.

Solid pho for the region and better than we were expecting to get. I recommend the extra vegetables as it really provides a fairly healthy road trip meal as you are getting sick of burgers and Americana food.

This is my favorite restaurant in Cape! It’s healthy comfort food and the prices are good too. If you call ahead, take out is so fast. Or if you eat there, the atmosphere is amazing.
