Everything we ordered was good, hot and fresh. I don’t really care for their spring roll filling, but my mom and 2 year baby boy loved them.
I also ordered the Lemon grass chicken with, fried rice 10/10. The chicken is marinated and grilled. It comes with a lil salad garnish topped with pickled carrots. We also got Pho #7 Brisket, Steak and Tripe. The broth is fragrant and good! Meat is tender and they gave a lot of sprouts, herbs, green onion, white onion, lime, Thai basil, fresh jalapeño and cilantro. Along with Hoison and Siracha sauces.
We are not local residents. We travelled with small kids to VB for the long weekend so we had activities planned out for each day of our trip. Today, we ordered a #9 special pho to go (with beef, tendon, etc.) for our son because he decided that he would like that specific type of pho for dinner. He is a small, special kid who cannot tolerate loud noise, he gets overwhelmed in a busy setting, and he is very picky about what he eats. After we picked up the order which was tightly wrapped in a plastic bag, we drove back to our rental 35 min away just to find out that they gave us a completely different type: a chicken pho, instead. (We ended up having to order something else for our son who was super hungry.) So we called the restaurant and talked to AJ, the same person who took our to-go order. At first, she asked me: what is a special pho? I then explained that it is a beef pho with other specials in it, the most expensive one #9 on their menu. She then told me to bring back the pho for an exchange. I let her know that we were far away from the restaurant so she told us to bring back the pho THE NEXT DAY for an exchange. Yes, you read it right, the next day! Then we asked to talk to a supervisor. Sadly, we could hear his voice talking to AJ: “tell them I am busy”. We then decided that we would like her to refund to our credit card the difference in price between what we ordered and what they gave us. She said she could not do it and that we would need to drive back to their restaurant for a refund even though I’ve explained twice all the reasons why I could not drive back to the restaurant. This same person purposely hung up on me twice after this conversation. I asked her why she hung up on me, she said: we are busy. Clearly, she could not care less. Neither did the supervisor do. I wish I could give this place a 0*
Toilet stall in women’s bathroom had fluid allover the floor… Interior had a couple of leaky spots.
Grilled pork chop was chewy. Huge portion, but fatty and chewy. Sauce bottles were kind of nasty. When asked for hot chilly oil, they’ll only give you a spit amount.
