Service was as aspected not a regular so they ignored me and wife. The appetizer was placed on the table quickly with no plates to place the app on. The shrimp rockets were good.

First time coming to Pho 79 and I must say the food is delicious. The staff provided excellent service. They were friendly and attentive. Will visit again next the time I am in town.

We came because we want soup and a taste of Pho. The place nest on a commercial area on the corner. It looks small but they do have an exclusive outside dining. Inside is clean and cozy and very traditional to their culture. The staff always has a smile and is fast to get your order. We got our order reasonably on time. Again, the flavor is perfect. Temperature is perfect and presentation too. We enjoyed our appetizer fried chicken and spring roll. We enjoyed our pho and lemon grass flavor bbq with rice. Tea is good too. Parking is up front with ramps. Coming back again for sure.

Not sure how uber eats orders are recieved at this restaurant. I ordered beef fried rice and recieved shrimp fried rice. I put a warning that we have a shellfish allergy! Someone please explain to me how that was mixed up! This is serious!

This place is the best pho place I’ve been too since moving from Dallas. The food is on point and the staff are ALL amazing and sweet. They treat me and my boys like family when we go in, and we couldn’t be more thankful for them.

I don’t live in Chesapeake but if I did, I would be a regular here. You can smell the delicious food being prepared as you’re sitting there. I was impressed, this place is on point. After a long day at the beach I was starving. Great service and bomb authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Everything we ordered was so good. Portions were generous and we were satiated. This was the best Nước chấm I have had from any restaurant in VA thus far. Meats were perfectly cooked and had that tasty char. The lemongrass flavor was infused throughout the chicken. Taro boba was good. We were a large party of 7 and everyone was happy, kids included. This Vietnamese spot is fire . Don’t sleep on this restaurant, even though it may not look like much from the exterior.

During our most recent visit the service standard had dropped. My spouse was almost done with his meal while mine was yet to be served because it was forgotten. Our table was only checked once during our meal while other diners received more attention. We were only asked if we enjoyed the meal when we were paying to which we responded “it was okay”. Not sure we will visit this location again but hey the food is still okay

Prices don’t match the flavor or portions here, 2 veggie spring rolls are $6.50. I’m not sure why they don’t offer shrimp spring rolls. $16.50 Chicken Pho was watered down, had no flavor, barely included any chicken, but the pieces that were in it were dry, small, rubbery, & watery tasting. $7.99 “crabmeat” wontons were full of creamy sauce & NO crab meat found at all. The pork&shrimp wontons are fried too hard, didn’t have a good flavor, and were so small. However, Service is good& the staff is attentive. The Thai tea is delicious, veggie spring rolls are ok , but over priced. This wasn’t good enough to come back, so this was my last time coming here.
