Popped in tonight for some pho with the family, of course the kid had chicken fried rice…… smh…. He confirmed yumminess at the proper rice-a-tude levels and was very happy with his choice.
The wife had the shrimp pho and left the bowl cleaned to bottom. The report was tasty, brothy, and it didn’t taste like a shrimp trawler parked on a salt lick. She was very happy indeed.
I had the beef pho, added in all the goodies including siracha. I chopsticked, slurped and spooned with abandon. It was awesome, subtle, and didn’t taste like burning. I enjoyed myself big time.
The owner(?) was super nice and one hard werkin’ pho maestro. Kudos to you my dude. Everyone left happy with a full belly and heart.

We love this restaurant so much. My husband loves the Pho & I always get the orange chicken with rice or the chicken fried rice. Their food has great flavor. It’s always fresh too. We love to get their Vietnamese coffee and I’m obsessed with the Peach Orange Tea too. Their egg rolls are tasty and so is their shrimp tempura. We discovered them via door dash which is always tasty too when delivered. Pho78 has quickly become our Vietnamese staple. They never disappoint and whatever we get it’s always delicious!

The Bun Bo Hue comes without a pork hock and with no blood pudding. The broth is not deep and rich. I won’t order from this location again.
Did come with chili oil but few pieces of basil so… meh.

Overall enjoyed my visit to Pho 78.
I’ve been told to try Bún bò Huê (allegedly “better than Pho”) for the longest and this place somewhat confirmed it. Well, only bc I enjoy a little spice in my food and it provided just the right amount. I would’ve prefered a different cut of meat (traditionally made w/ beef shank?), but overall it was rich, savory and enjoyable. 8/10
***disclaimer: I don’t like/care for soup or ramen in general, that’s why it wasn’t a 10/10***
Pas See Ew (drunken noodles with veggies and chicken) was also very delicious and hit the spot! It’s often overlooked bc of people’s obsession with Pas Thai. I loved it and will no longer order Pad Thai. 8.5/10
I also had Bánh Knot (mini shrimp pancakes) and were exceptional. Crunchy, tasty and small enough to eat in one bite. Especially wrapped around greens and dipped in the sauce. Truly obsessed with them and will go back to get these! 10/10

Great quality food. The pork spring rolls were better than the chicken spring rolls. We also had the jam noodles, my wife really liked them. I tried the shaking beef and it was so delicious. The meat was very tender and full of flavor. The rice was very good, just a little salty. The crab rangoons were decent. Since it was take out, they did get soft by time we ate them. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been craving some good Vietnamese food for a while, and when my wife suggested this place I was like eh, but I still came in because why not!
Upon arriving the hostess/ waitress greeted us and provided us with menus, she was very helpful with all of our questions.
My wife & daughter both got Pho and both gave it 11 out of 10. I went for a broccoli Stir with chicken and when I tell you this food just took me back to 2009 when I used to get Vietnamese food from this hole in the wall in chicago as if I jumped back time to 2009.
Definitely worth the try, and would definitely come back.

Super unhappy with the speed of the order. I ordered at 4:52pm. The order was suppose to be ready for pick up by 5:17pm. My husband went to the restaurant by 5:15pm. He sat there and waited until 5:40pm and they forgot to pack part of the order and he had to turn back around and get it. Either they need to update their website ordering to where pick up time is more accurate for customers so no one is waiting for over 25 minutes, or they need to let customers know ahead of time they’re running behind. Something needs to change. I won’t be ordering again.
They only had two people working so several to go orders were backed up and people were waiting for orders at their tables. My husband ran into friends at the restaurant and they were also waiting a while. They need to hire more workers, obviously.

This place is now Pho 78, we found the food to be just as good, with a much bigger menu. I had the Hu Tiu which has light and tasty broth, and fresh seafood. What made the noodle soup even better was the soup-appropriate table height. The egg rolls were very good. The shaken beef seemed pretty average though.
