Also got to try the egg fried wontons and spring rolls (which were huge). One thing that I wish they had was chili crisp but overall a pleasant experience. The service was never lacking, we got our water filled all the time.
My mom placed an online order to be picked up at 6:46. We arrived closer to 7 and my boyfriend stated the name of our order and waited 10 minutes. He told the host our order name again and she acted like she had no idea what he was talking about. They didn’t have our order that we had confirmation for and instead of working on our order, we had to wait for 40 minutes for our dinner. We ordered this food to make our lives easier for baking and cleaning tonight for thanksgiving prep and instead it put us behind.
They offered an extra order of pho and in the end didn’t give it to us because whoever was in the back said no.
The food was not the quality it usually is either. The wontons were very chewy, the rice flour cake was a messy and burnt a bit, and the pad Thai leaked in the bag and spilled over everything else. There was nearly a cup of watery sauce in the bag.
This was a disappointing experience and I’m not sure I’ll be back after this. This is some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced.
Definitely recommend. Definitely need pho on cold days like today during this holiday season. Also, the portions were pretty large. I have extra meals for days !
We also tried the Korean Short Ribs that was pretty good! Most people would enjoy this dish. I personally am use to a side of a savory sauce that I can dip with the ribs but overall still worked for my craving!
Certainly give this restaurant a try if you have not had it. I’ll be back to try other dishes when back in town again.
The experience exceeded our expectations. Easy parking, clean restroom and store, fresh produce, friendly and polite staff. We ordered rice platter with Korean beef, seafood soup, and Hue style beef noodle soup
You can already tell how good the rice platter is as we got it the second time. Flavor and tenderness were spot on.
The seafood soup was good but underwhelmed in compassion with others. Fairly speaking, the waiter knew that I was Vietnamese and the soup would not end well. He did warn me twice and confirmed it the 3rd time (he really wanted to make sure that I didn’t order it by mistake ) I actually knew it too but my American friend wanted to give it a try.
The Hue style noodle soup was splendid! I’d say it’s the best in town as it’s the only location I’ve known that serves this dish with pork leg and blood pudding, 2 signature ingredients. Though you probably need to ask for them as for which you need an acquired taste.
When they brought me one without the 2, they immediately corrected it without any further Ado; which was greatly appreciated
The blood pudding was done right both texture and flavor. The pork leg was huge even bigger than one I had in Jacksonville FL. The skin was well cleaned. Tendon was tender. The bone still had its marrow. They were generous with lemon grass and green onion. The veggie dish was fresh and decent.
We ended with iced milk coffee, sweet soup, and fermented riceballs. The coffee was good though underwhelmed compared to the other locations. Sweet soup had the right flavor but was a bit too sweet for me. The fermented riceballs had a nice flavor but I’d prefer it to be different softer.
Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the experience. I was totally sold for that Bun Bo Hue. I’d rate it 7* if I could. Great service! Highly recommended for everyone one

Update: I visited last Sunday, Bun Bo Hue is still phenomenal. They have me 2 pieces of pork legs. Man! Can’t beat that. I can’t describe how satisfied I was with the dish both look and taste.
Highly recommended!!!
We ordered the Pho Dac Biet (special), wings, and vermicelli noodles with beef and shrimp. Everything was delicious and well executed. The pho was ripping hot and huge. It was also fully flavored. The vermicelli noodle salad was light and tasty. We requested extra fish sauce which they happily obliged. The wings were extra crispy and not greasy. Tasted great with the onion garlic satay.
Overall service was great, prices were competitive, and ambiance was low key nice. Definitely coming back for more. High recommend and my top 3 Vietnamese restaurant in Minnesota. A+
