I come here every Tuesday—pretty much four times a month. No big reason, honestly… if I don’t come on Tuesday, I feel this weird emptiness like something’s missing. I’ve been coming for a long time.
Sometimes the broth and noodles change a bit. I’m not sure if the kitchen team changed or what, but somehow that’s part of the charm—each version has its own vibe.
I’m a little sensitive to MSG, but this place uses it in a way that feels just right—it’s seriously delicious, and honestly kind of addictive. If I skip a week, I genuinely miss it.
The portion of meat is insane—it just keeps coming the more you eat. And the egg rolls are a must. If I don’t get them before the noodles, it feels like something’s missing again.
Also—do yourself a favor and try the Vietnamese coffee here. It gives me energy like 100x stronger than a Red Bull (at least for me).

Pho 400 will always be top 3 for me especially around the Twin Cities!
Bahn mi grilled pork was good; it could have use a little bit more meat. Good amount of veggies and not over filled.
Bun bo hue requested without pork hock. Special pho both 10/10. Broth never disappoints! And always loaded with meat!!

One of me and my mom’s favorite places to eat! Servers are fast and friendly. And food is always 100/10! Amazing restaurant. I Never want this place to close. As long as I’m alive, this restaurant will always have a returning customer! 🙂

I placed an order through Uber eats and was really looking forward to trying their pho since I had seen so many good reviews, but when I opened the container and poured in the broth, I see that they sent the wrong order. I had ordered pho tai, just lean beef, and got a bowl full of other things, tripe, meatballs and other meats. I tried to pick through it but then gave up and threw it away. Very disappointing. The rest of my order was really good, I’d order from them again but probably won’t be the pho

Its a very small place with maybe a dozen tables. The vibe could use some updated decor. The Pho however was EXCELLENT. I had the Pho Tai (beef) the broth was delicious and the aroma was sublime. The little hint of cinnamon and charred onions hit your nose before you take a sip. All the things you’d like to add are available on the table such as Sriracha,fish sauce,hoisin,etc.
I also got the spring rolls. Decent but the menu says pork AND shrimp but mine were missing the shrimp. It had way too many noodles and lettuce and not enough pork (no carrots or cilantro or shrimp).
All things considered it was fairly priced.

This is my ‘go to’ place for comfort food. They have great Pho and Bahn mi and their chicken wings are amazing! The oyster sauce wings are my favorite. Really fast and friendly service, clean tables and you can always get in. Parking lot out front with plenty of spaces. The staff here is really friendly.

I had a really disappointing experience at Pho 400. My friend and I had ordered the vegetable pho, assuming like most pho places that it would be vegetarian-friendly. When we realized it actually contained chicken, we brought it up. Instead of simply clarifying, the male employee was passive-aggressive and condescending, making my friend feel stupid for even asking.
On top of that, we were told that the vegetables are boiled in the same oil and pots as the meat and chicken — so if you’re vegetarian, this is definitely not the place for you.
The way we were treated left a bad taste in our mouths, and the lack of consideration for vegetarian customers makes it even worse. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back.
The picture is of the vegetable pho having chicken. There was no point of it being vegetable pho if it had chicken, vegetarian or not there shouldn’t be chicken in a plate where you didn’t ask for a chicken pho! We hosted a delightful wedding dinner for family and friends at Pho 400. They were very gracious and accommodating to our group. The food was delicious and perfectly served. I can’t wait to come back to Minnesota so I can go again!
