Extremely bad management and staff help. Poor planning on food prep. The three times I’ve gone always waited for items to be ready. Always short food. I know it’s a new location and they have a learning curve for their staff and leads. But at this point it should be much better. Plus the trash bins were all overflowing. Probably the worse Chipotle I’ve been too. Needs corporate help asap. General manager should be here helping staff and not leaving at 5pm. Not very well managed if you’re not here supporting your staff. Just leaving them to fend for themselves. Staff themselves are doing the best they can.

Very nice new facility in Springfield! Of course, the food is extremely good, because its… it’s literally Chipotle, guys. The people who made our food were great! We sat at a nice little long table next to the window overlooking the street (wish I had pics). Oh, this Chipotle also has a drive-thru, which is something the other two Chipotles in Springfield DON’T have. Stop by if you have a chance!

Order should be ready at 12:50. It is currently 1:16pm. They said it will be 5 mins more 5 times. The service here is terrible. Chipotle in the Springfield area has been awful and the service at its worst. I still will always love chipotle but it’s getting worse by the day. @chipotle please fix this. It’s currently 1:20 and still didn’t get my order

I still don’t like Chipotle but went here anyways because it’s a new location. They’re running absolutely fine, it’s just I don’t like Chipotle as a brand: “meh” flavors, weird upcharges, heavily politically compromised (corporate down), and deceptively expensive. I will compliment them at this location because their “new store” attitudes are in place and the monotony of work hasn’t set in yet. Staff were clean, professional, and excited. For people who love Chipotle, this is a cute little store. For people who hate it, it’s still Chipotle and tastes exactly the same as every other Chipotle.

For a new place this place is horrible condition. The franchise owner of this location should see the status of this store. There wasn’t a single table or area on the the floor that didn’t have food, dirt or trash. The staff was lazy, not super friendly and clearly didn’t want to be there. I was waiting to get food for a few minutes with no one else but my friend in the restaurant because one of them was making their own lunch and whispering to the other employee and having their own conversation. We ended up sitting in our own vehicle to eat because it was so nasty. The entire kitchen area was also filthy. The staff didn’t want to refill any of the items as a lot were empty and they moved extremely slow to refill. At least the other chipotle is usually pretty decent. Could not believe the status of this place. Will not be going back, needs some serious management help.

Placed a mobile pickup order and was charged, but the store did not provide my food.

At the Chipotlane window, I was told my order “didn’t go through” and that I would need to contact corporate for a refund. No assistance or resolution was provided.

I went inside to ask if they could prepare the order since payment had processed, and was told they did not have the capacity to make it. I left without food or a refund.

The order is now marked completed in the app despite not being provided.

Food was good, had the chicken al pastor. The main concern at this location was the employee making the food was sneezing, using the cash register, interacting with customers all with the same gloves on, never changed them once. Kind of defeats the purpose of the gloves keeping things sanitary and clean.

Out of everything always. The last four times I’ve been this store has been out of everything. Using the scraps at the bottom of the containers. It cannot be that hard to staff a chipotle and pay them enough to stay and want to do a good job. Management needs to be replaced. Figure it out. We have to have at least one good chipotle in this town.

Every dining room table had old food on them. Waited in line for over 20 minutes. There were at least 6 employees but only one serving the walk in customers. Other employees were too busy doing very little. They were Out of brown rice and chicken. I asked that they get it from the other serving line for the drive through since we waited so long and was told they couldn’t do that. The table they sliced the food on was piled high with dirty pots and pans.
One of the dirtiest places I have ever seen. Poor management. Sad because the food is good at other Chipotles but certainly not worth the wait and uncleanliness of this particular store.

We went in on November 26th, 2025 – when they were having a BOGO deal/sale. We expected that it’d be very busy, and when we arrived, the drive thru AND the inside were both extremely busy. So much so that we considered not even messing with it.
We decided to go in to take advantage of the deal. It took a while in line, but that’s not even the main gripe that I have.

There was a particular person who was working on the food line, who was a male, had a hat on, glasses, a little scruffy looking (not to be mean or judgy , but since I didn’t see a name on the person – this is the only thing that I have to go by). He was giving noticeably small servings. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, that maybe he was brand new. However, I kept seeing repeatedly that he was giving smaller servings (compared to the other person on the line), and I did hear someone else who was ahead of us in line, vocalizing his concerns about the servings that worker had given him. Finally it was my turn at the counter, and he also gave me very small servings. I even asked for queso (which I don’t usually do, because it’s more additional money) but when I saw how considerably smaller in size my burrito was, compared to my partners (who ordered nearly the same thing, and had a different worker make his food) – it made me feel like I was getting jipped. I thought it was incredibly unfair that I (and surely others) would have had to pay the same price, for a burrito that looks more like a noodle, in comparison to the hugely stuffed (and regular size, for Chipotle) burritos that other workers were producing.
Thankfully, the other worker was also manning the cash register, noticed how small mine was (that the guy made), and did not charge me for the queso on it. (Because even WITH the queso, it looked like a noodle).

The lower rating and stars will hopefully send a message to Chipotle and Chipotle management to make sure your employee’s are giving ENOUGH food to your customers.

I may visit there again in the future – but I will NOT be paying any price for a burrito that looks like someone just rolled a tortilla up, and wrapped it in between some foil, and called it good. If I wanted to do that, I’d grab a tortilla from my pantry. When I go to Chipotle and pay as much as everyone pays, we want a substantial amount of food inside of the tortilla (which I have normally gotten and had good experiences with, at Chipotle – except for this visit on Nov. 26th.)

Just please, do better!
