Came in for a work lunch meeting one weekday… They were pretty busy, but there was no delay in greeting us seated. Service was very friendly and helpful. Their menu is typical Viet/Pho. Opted for crispy veggie spring rolls to start – they were excellent! Perfect texture and great flavor! The dip that came with them was awesome! I’m not into peanutty sauces, nor hoison and this was a sort os soy sauce type thickened sauce with nice flavor.
On to the entrée – I got chicken pho – Again, great! The accoutrement that came with it was “ok” not as fresh as I’d like, but still worked for my needs. But the broth was so very tasty! The chicken was decent as well.
Definitely would come back here… it was pretty good!

Growing up in a Vietnamese area in the suburbs of Fort Worth, it has been hard to find the taste of home here in Virginia. The Pho was perfectly seasoned and didn’t require any sauces, just the squeeze of a lime that it should have right before digging in. The lemongrass pork vermicelli brought tears to my wife’s eyes.
Absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back and I’m sure more trips to Richmond from Fredericksburg will be to come here for a taste of home!

Order some rolls and pho, pretty quick service. The grilled pork rolls were great, hit the spot. The bowl of pho was a little lackluster compared to other places in town. Got the Pho Dac Viet and was surprised there was not much meet. Was the first pho Dac Viet that I got where all the meat was small and bite sizes. So use to having large pieces at other places, plus there wasn’t much meat in there. Plenty of noodles but if your expecting basil the will give you a spring of it with 4 leaves maybe. Broth was good. Overall it’s okay.

Pho 1 Grill is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely excellent — fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I ordered the P2. Pho Tai, and it was incredibly tasty. The grilled chicken with vermicelli was also a standout — tender, well-seasoned, and perfectly paired with the noodles.
Service was quick, the staff was friendly, and the location is convenient. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. I genuinely enjoyed every bite and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Been a few years since we were here, would seem older couple is no longer running – at least not there on Tuesday night at 7p. 4 tables total while we were there and 5 employees working out front. Husband was brought a beer that tasted bad – it was 4 weeks past best by date. No apology from waiter when we returned it to them. Food arrived shortly after, soup appetizer was forgotten. When we asked about it – again no apology even when delivered. Food was good but not as good as we remembered. Had to ask for drink refills and eventually for the check. Returned beer still on the check, had to ask to have it removed. Won’t be back. Too many good restaurants in the area.

Great place for food. The service was good, but when our party of 4 wanted to talk (we did order appetizers) the server seemed stressed. Maybe they were new? The tofu pho was exceptionally tasty. Will go back again!

Moved back to Virginia from the Bay Area in Northern California where some of the best pho in the country is found. This place is about the closest we’ve found to matching that quality. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I visit at least once a week with my wife, 3, and 5 year old and they treat us like family!
Food is amazing, fresh and seasoned well. We normally order the Five Spiced Pho option. I order extra beef and they don’t charge much for that option. Broth is always hot and great flavor. Their apps and fried rice are really good as well.
Definitely worth checking out if your someone who appreciates authentic pho and great service!

I had the Lunch special #3 with hot and sour soup, fried rice and shrimp roll with hot tea for $12.95. The food and service was excellent. The manager asked us if we wanted to test taste plum wine which we did and it was good. Friendly and gracious staff who treated us well. Our two pho experts loved it

Very hit or miss venue. Interesting lunch specials with small portions present a good opportunity to try this restaurant. Lots of oil for both fried and stir fry dishes and mild spicy is served at nasal drainage level. Fresh ingredients and nice presentation. Limited booths and vacuum cleaning during lunch time will make quiet conversations a challenge.
