Literally the best pandan waffle. I’ve tried many. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, surprisingly light. Always made fresh to order. Favorite drinks are the Isabel (not always available?), salted lime soda, salt cream coffee, and yogurt coffee. No upcharge for their house-made condensed oat milk. And the owner’s really down-to-earth and kind.

Whenever you are in Little Saigon/ID, do yourself a favor and grab a matcha latte at Phin (with black sesame, trust me).

Bao is friendly and crafts these drinks with care. It was the perfect temperature and sweetness. If you know me, you know I love matcha: this is the best one I’ve ever had!

The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is chic and cozy, and I will definitely be back again soon 🙂

Phin is a hidden gem among coffee giants. The dairy free pandan latte quite honestly was one of the best I’ve ever had, both rich in flavor and the perfect punch of espresso you want on a Monday morning. The shop is cozy and calm, great for getting some work done. Wishing I was a local so I could come here more often!

I went in to get an Iced Vietnamese Coffee. It was delicious, not too sweet and the coffee was perfect. They had some gifts and such for sale including this amazing looking waffle mix. I stayed for a little bit and enjoyed the peaceful space for a while. I went early on a Sunday and was the only customer I’m sure it gets busier later in the day.

I normally I get coconut coffee but I like the blended type not the coconut cream type. Pandan and black sesame seems to be a regular item on the menu at most

I love to check out trendy coffee shops when I’m out of town. Have never seen yogurt coffee, not even in Orange County, CA and decided to try that. I knew it would be a gamble because I do not like the tarty sour flavor of Vietnamese yogurt.

My first sip and immediate reaction, I did not like. Definitely that wiff of sour tartness shot up my nose. Not to mention the semi thickness texture. As I took another sip, I’m starting to like it. It’s tolerable but I wouldn’t get it again.

It was well balanced with coffee and condense milk.

I love that the menu is basic and doesn’t offer a lot of fo-fo drinks.

So much culture in this cafe. Tons of cultural books both for adults and children.

Lovely interior, friendly staff.
The recommended drink here is the yogurt coffee. The previous review saying the yogurt coffee is too tart must have had their taste buds obliterated by starbies or something. It was very normal. Me when the drink called yogurt coffee tastes like yogurt and coffee

This review is specifically for the yogurt coffee, which is what I get from here. If you like the tart sweetness of yogurt with a smack of good strong coffee, this drink would hit the spot (but I think you’d have to like yogurt generally). Seating area is limited but it’s a cozy cute place inside. I haven’t tried the desserts but they look good!

Came here to try a new coffee place on the way back from downtown. Saw they had a unique yogurt coffee drink and had to try it, as well as the pandan and classic.

Yogurt coffee was very tart, like extremely tart. Didn’t care for it at all, as the coffee was bitter too. Unless you really want a tart coffee I would stay away from this drink.

The pandan and veit coffee were not so much better. The pandan was good but the pandan overpowered the coffee flavor so didn’t taste like much else. Each drink we got the coffee tasted off, nothing like the Vietnamese coffees we have had at other shops and in Vietnam. Not sure if they’re using a different type of bean or something but we did not like it.

I would skip this place and try some of the other Viet coffee shops around.

I tried their coconut latte and it was very delicious and strong. The coconut tasted a little burned and left a bitter aftertaste but after trying many coconut lattes from different places I think that’s how it suppose to taste like unless you are using mass-produced syrups. I’ll definitely come back to try their other beverages.
They have a website with menu and pictures.
