I am from Philly, born and raised. When I tell you that Philly’s Famous is the REAL DEAL, take my word for it. The best cheesesteak I’ve had in 10 years. Period. When I walked in, the smells and the sounds (the chop, chop, chopping of the meat and the sizzle of the grill) sent me back to my youth at once. The meat is the real shaved ribeye beef and the fresh Amoroso rolls are shipped in from Philly. Tina was the lady on the grill. She knows what she’s doing folks and she’s so friendly! I enjoyed my conversation with her and Mark (Marc?). They even have Tastykakes! I will be back again and again. They have a customer forever in me. I highly recommend you visit.

Stopped by here while on a business trip from Oregon. A coworker of mine who is actually originally from Philly, recommended this place – said it’s the best around. Naturally, the fact that someone who is actually from Philadelphia had such positive things to say about it led me to have high expectations. . End result: this place delivered. The quality and taste of each ingredient was present. Best Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had and it’s not even close.

i moved across the country to arizona from jersey a few years back and i only regret i haven’t found this place sooner!! everytime i come to phillys famous i feel like i’m right back at home. the employees make you feel like family and always great you with so much warmth, I was surprised to be remembered on the second time I ever came here

Now these are some great cheese steaks! We both tried the Philly’s and were extremely impressed. The fries and wedges were also really good! The customer service was pretty top notch. One lady was so courteous to us and our little child.
The prices were fair and although the store is a little old, it is clean and I really like the vibes. We will be coming here again!

My son introduced me to this place. From the first time I walked in, they make you feel like family. If you’re not sure what you want, they will literally hand you a little bowl with a good amount of meat in it to taste. Their joy, family atmosphere and love for what they are doing, and feeding people all over the valley shows. Such an incredible place and reminds me how things were back in the day. The generosity and genuine of Rita and her family go above and beyond anything I’ve experienced. Their food matches who they are and it is one of the best places to enjoy friendships and eating experiences. Top notch!!

This place has outstanding philly cheese steak’s! But the family who owns this place is so welcoming and very very nice. I have only gone to a few places that the owners interact with customers as much as these guys do! Rita ,Mark,Jacob and sarah were so nice and welcoming. Thank you guys for lunch and the recommendations when we came in. This place is not close to where I live but very much worth the trip to get here.
