OKAY… so not tryna bash but just be honest… everyone complain about the salmon and the issue is cause it’s pre-packaged frozen salmon… gotta use fresh salmon to correct that over cooked texture! I was able to drop the salmon from 3 feet above my plate and it did NOT break at all… (I have the video) lo mein was over cooked… best thing was definitely the jerk chicken… but even that could have been off the grill sooner, cause the seasoning was perfect just a lil over cooked. Again I’m not tryna bash I’m just offering pointers and suggestions and I hope you can take these suggestions in good faith to improve. Has a lot of potential with a few tweaks

Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Went in request rasta pasta with 2 egg rolls. I also informed the Mgr Ki that it was my 3rd visit and the food is different every time. The first visit was most memorable and flavorful. Each time I ordered the same thing. Rasta pasta that came with boneless chicken and spicy/ cajun every time without request. The manager Ki advised I needed to request everything in order to have what they have always served me. My rasta pasta was bland with more sauce no spice not even mild. The egg rolls were labeled wrong in which led to wrong person getting their food. The salmon was overcooked and the cabbage was mushy and extra wet. The manager Ki said I’m not telling the truth about my experience after I complained. This restaurant has poor management that does not hold accountability for their wrong. Every visit they were out of meat or vegetables of some sort. I will not revisit since my food was not good or what I have had in the past. And if your customers let you know that they are dissatisfied that is not the time to tell them how to place an order. I f there are multiple ways then options should be offered not expecting the customer to know your hidden rules. If you give the wrong food to a customer it shouldn’t be expected for me to bite off it and pass it to who it belongs. I spent at least 35$ today not able to eat my food.

This was my first time here and man I was absolutely blown away. The service and on point and the food is made scratch so unless you call on advance you will have to wait but the wait is so worth it. I got the two protein 2 sides ribeye steak and jerk chicken. My wife got the shrimp and jerk chicken and we got the WINGS and they did not disappoint. The atmosphere is cool you also eat it if you prefer. Overall this place is definitely worth the money. Me and my wife will definitely be back.

Honestly, the whole experience was mediocre. The food was way more expensive than the flavor called for. I was super underwhelmed given the amount of positive reviews on social media. The wings were fried well though.

The reviews were high so I thought to give it a try. I’m always down for trying a new restaurant and we love hibachi and “hood.” Unfortunately, it was disappointing. We ordered a 3 protein and 2 sides plate for pickup from grubhub. I didn’t even realize I was only given 1 side because it was only an option to choose 1 online, even though it says you’re paying for 2. Could be a GH issue, idk. But the presentation was nothing like the photos. Just meat and rice. All browned fried rice and sauce with no veggies, onions anything. I expect more from hibachi. Maybe it’s just not for me since it’s so many high reviews. ‍♀️I got steak, shrimp and chicken thighs and it was simply just ok. Steak eggroll was better but I wouldn’t make me return. Only took a few bites and my son used the rest to create stir fry at home.

This place was better than I originally thought. Food was tasty and plentiful. Food freshly made. We ate in. The staff was incredibly helpful. I would definitely be back. I enjoyed the general tso chicken with soft cooked broccoli.

I order food, spent almost 50 dollars and was disappointed. I ordered mango habanero wings with shrimp fried rice and salmon, shrimp, lo mein and mixed vegetables. My wings taste like they were fried the day before and tossed in sauce. My shrimp was mushy and with every bite it seems as if I had grit in my food, I believe because the shrimp was not cleaned properly. My salmon was overcooked and the lo mein was mushy as well. We were so disappointed as this was our first time trying this place. I also was overcharge so please pay attention to your receipt.

My husband and I visited Philly Wok after reading great reviews and seeing many local food bloggers recommend it. We went during lunch, and while it wasn’t crowded, there was no greeting when we arrived. The woman at the counter seemed more focused on her phone than helping us, which made ordering a bit awkward. We also noticed other first-time customers walk in and get the same dismissive treatment, which was disappointing. Especially when you can see that the customer is excited for the experience.

We tried the 3-protein combo with steak, chicken, and shrimp, the mango habanero whole wings, and a shrimp hibachi egg roll. The wait was about 20 minutes, but only the chicken and the egg roll were served hot. Portion sizes were smaller than expected from the videos I’d seen. The lo mein had good flavor, but the rice was underwhelming, the shrimp were very small, and the steak wasn’t tender. We spent $40 on food and $7 for 2 bottled grape sodas.

I also had some concerns with cleanliness. The rugs were dirty, and in an open-kitchen concept, it would help if the jars, sauces, and seasonings were wiped down regularly. The overall experience could be improved if the cashier received some customer service training—or if management placed someone at the front who genuinely appreciates having business come through the door.
