OMG y’all. I haven’t seen a Philly Connection in years. I ordered a mushroom cheese steak it was not skimpy and tasted great!! There was one nice lil lady running the whole operation of the store. She was on point and very clean in her food preparation. I will drive out of my way to stop here anytime I’m in the area.

Been living here for 8 years and been wanting to try this place. So disappointed. The best part about this experience is having to bring my food home so I can season everything. Mozzarella sticks had no flavor at all and the marinara tasted like tomato paste. The curly fries were just decent but the main course.. The Philly!! Terrible. No flavor at all. I added extra cheese and seasoning at home. I mean… Even the fountain drinks were terrible!Never going back again. I didn’t even take pics of the food but here is the restaurant

Not great but not terrible. The curly fries are excellent though with good flavor and were cooked really well. I ordered the pizza steak sandwich. Steak was a bit try and not as flavorful as I would’ve thought it would be. Didn’t have much for cheese or pizza sauce on it I almost thought there was no sauce. Inside the restaurant is not very clean so I was skeptical of actually trying any food from here. The soda was also very watered down and the staff barely say two words to you so the ordering experience isn’t all that pleasant either.
I would give it one more try if I lived in the area but I’m only passing through so won’t be able to try it again for some time if ever. However, if I did try it again I’d definitely ask for extra sauce and extra cheese if I did another pizza steak, although I shouldn’t have to ask for extra there should be enough on it. Not the worst place I’ve ever eaten at though. I think my total was around $13 for a 7” sandwich combo including fries and a fountain drink.

Went on my lunch break, not crowded at all.
Got a 7inch steak “ the works” and side order of curly fries. Total was $11.56.
Friendly service, fresh bread, hot fries, good sandwich.
No complaints would definitely come here again anytime I want a hot, properly prepared Philly cheesesteak.

The wait is long and the wings are higher priced than similar establishments in the area. However, I was impressed that there was only one lady cooking there on a Friday night and she was getting it done quicker than I expected for the volume of people coming in. Also, the wings are big and tasty, so it’s kind of worth the expense.

This is not the Philly connection I know. Yes the get 1 star because it was extremely clean in there, which I like. But the food. O no thumbs down. My wings were tasteless. I asked for crispy lemon pepper. I don’t know what sauce they use but it wasn’t on my wings. Over price and Philly was bland. I spent $50 for 2 half Philly and some wings and fries. That pretty much went in the trash.

3 yrs later: we visit here pretty often bc it’s the only one around.. we were upset when he took the Birch Beer out of the fountain, but we still went.. went about a month ago and when I asked for steak sauce, he gave me one. I asked for a second and he said it’d be $.50. That’s like charging for a packet of ketchup.. went back today, ordered 2 sandwiches, asked for steak sauce and he gave me one again… and he threw it in the bag and walked off.. I didn’t even bother asking for another. Got my food home and my sandwich was over cooked and the bread was chewy.. I was very disappointed in this visit bc we love Philly Connection.. & is quite literally the only one around.. I always expect to wait while ordering bc he normally takes one order then makes it before he takes another order. So if you’re in a hurry, expect a wait if he’s busy.

I will never eat here. For my first and now only opportunity to eat here, I was calling in a take out order. I told the lady on the phone this is my first time to order what type of Philly you have. As I recognized she spoke limited English I spoke more clear. Not knowing they have 3 different sizes I asked the price and combo information. The lady hung up the phone. I called back and she didn’t answer. As I do pass this business on my way home I stopped to let her know how RUDE that was when I clearly to you this was my first time to eat here. I told her if she was busy to say so and tell me to order in person. I will never give my money to such a business as this. There’s other businesses be happy to get my money and a tip to show my appreciation. I went down the street to spend my money in supporting a better business.
