I bought a crab cake platter that came with two sides for $23.99. The crab cake was so Tiny I returned the platter and got a refund. I am a small person with a little appetite. This is tiniest crab cake I have ever ordered. I love crab cakes, and order them a lot. Shame on Phillips for ripping off their customers. Their crab soup Does not have any crab in it at all, only crab flavor, for $9. You expect a piece of crab, a morsel, give me something!!!
Each coleslaw was 3 ounces. Your choice dried out french fries, tater tots or coleslaw. I just read that someone who actually ate the crab cake said it tasted so badly she threw out the rest of it, after taking one bite.

This place is the BIGGEST RIPOFF on the planet! They straight STEAL from customers! We ordered the Crab Cake & Crispy Shrimp platter! For 2, me & my mom. Didn’t even know it came with waffle fries, we didn’t care for em. Instead we got a box full of waffle fries, it had about 3 small pieces of shrimp, & 1 single tiny crabcake at the bottom. Basically we got a big order of waffle fries for $30!!! Me & my mom were extremely disappointed, I felt even more guilty cause she paid for it.
I asked the employee, this is what you serve for $30?? The employee (a young guy) didn’t even care. He was just reading on his phone while talking to us. So on top customer service is really poor too. We were just so tired from a long trip & extremely hungry & wanted a decent meal, she didn’t want to waste time on a refund. But looking back I wish this is exactly what we would’ve done!
If I had seen the extremely poor ratings & reviews prior we would’ve never ate here.. and gone to Wendys, Nathans, or Jerrys near them instead.
STAY AWAY FROM HERE! They are making a killing with their tiny portions, average food, poor service, & high prices!! Look at the rating, this place needs to be shut down. I am next sending my complaint to the BBB & the state consumer protection service about these scoundrels. Honestly I never felt so ripped off at a restaurant in my life & it takes alot for me to take time out of my day (being as busy as I am) to write a negative review

This place should be closed. I spent $44.50 for a crab cake platter and calamari. I chose the waffles fries and I got very dry tiny fries. When I asked the lady she said that’s only fries they left. She didn’t tell me when I ordered. It’s really terrible and overpriced. I know they are located at service plaza they have plenty customers. I didn’t expect they can offer me a good service and good quality of food, at least you should provide good quantity of food but they didn’t.This is my last time to go there! It’s not worth! Terrible experience!!!

Super small portions I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. I got the shrimp roll, and it was basically a folded piece of bread with a bit of lettuce and about five shrimp with no flavor at all. Can’t say much about the other dishes, but after reading more reviews trying to find what I should have ordered, it seems there’s not much better. Sad to have spent $23 on that.

In order a lobster roll for 26$ which was a smaller portion than I thought. I drove 45 mins and had a pull over because I was feeling light headed. 2 hours later I was at the local rest stop throwing up from food poisoning all night I couldn’t even make it to my destination. Never again.

I arrived at 7:18pm on a Tuesday evening and the lights were out. I inquired with an employee if they were open and she informed me that they were closed. It’s ridiculous that a large rest stop restaurant is closed during peak hours.

Phillips seafood has always been a favorite of past. When ever in the area just had to grab a bowl of bisque and a shrimp poor boy. The wife and I stopped today in our travels and to our surprise the food was horrible. Now with this being said let’s review. The staff was poor and pretty lazy as well and not real caring for your service. Oh no soup, the signature product, the staff commented they just did not make it. We ordered the shrimp poor boys and we could only taste the old grease it was cooked in and also was a low priced low grade frozen shrimp. I included a photo of the sandwich but the prawn sauce aka Chipotle sauce was nice. The waffle fries were good except this is my first for getting a frozen French fry in my order. My wife returned her sandwich for a soup and this was mysterious that they now have soup and I just peeled my 4 shrimp out of the heavy breading and tried to enjoy the minced shrimp pieces and not even whole shrimp. We paid over $30 for this
