Welcome to Phi, a family run thai restaurant in the heart of West Derby Village, Liverpool. Phi the golden ratio, was discovered in Greece by Euclid more than 2000 years ago as a mathematical formula to describe aesthetics in shape and form. The Pyramids and the Parthenon were built using this principle and was used by the likes of Leonardo Da Vinci, Salvador Dali, Mondrian and many artists, architects and muscians throughout the history. We apply the same principle to the creation of our dishes here at our restaurant where Phi brings you golden thai portions which we hope you will enjoy. Our head chef Sura is from Chiang Mai which is situated in the North of Thailand and this is reflected in how his meals are prepared.

Phi Thai offers fantastic food bursting with amazing flavors and spices. The portions provide good value, making it a satisfying dining experience. Coupled with friendly service, Phi Thai stands out as a great place to enjoy delicious Thai cuisine. I’d especially recommend the Pad Thai, Cashew nut stirfry and Chicken satay.

Nice relaxing vibe. Nice, friendly and welcoming staff. Easy to understand menu. Really nice food. Curry was lovely could have had more chips though. Tom Tom soup fab. Fish Cakes good too. They should stock soya milk though. Overall, I think 10 / 10. Will go back again.

Great visit to Phi Thai , beautiful restaurant interior with creative art work and a homely atmosphere. The staff were excellent going out of their way to ensure the customer had a great experience. Food was very good , I requested very spicy (as always) and they certainly delivered . Very deep flavours , however I do question if MSG is used .
Excellent diverse menu with plenty of options from all over Thailand .
Price was fair and I highly recommend for anyone wanting to try some great Thai food .

The food is is not great but it is okay. I got a bit confused about the menu. Saturday has it own menu, which I couldn’t understand. Like in the main menu, there are meals where rice is included but they said oh no on Saturday it is not although it is not clear in the menu. In conclusion, seeing another place is recommended. Note: some of the stuff are friendly.

Used to order often from here couple of years ago. Spotted it on Uber eats so thought we’d order as we always used to enjoy it. Order came to almost £50 and most of it was inedible. Chicken like rubber it was so over cooked, rice completely dried out, noodles all stuck together and ribs very tough. Absolutely gutted don’t know if it had been prepared and kept warm whilst waiting for pick up but most of it went in the bin

Ordered the Tom Yum and wonton noodle soup, and they were definitely the best I’ve had in a while. Very authentic! The staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating. Would love to dine in one day
