OUR STORY At La Estrella bringing people together has been our inspiration since opening the first location, 26 years ago, in Manteca, California. We now have 5 locations and 2 taco trucks. As we continue to open restaurants in the Central Valley, we continue to create more job opportunities for the community, while our extended family of guests and associates remains at the heart of what we do.

I haven’t been here in years, but the other day I went for lunch with a coworker, and the food was absolutely amazing. From the chips and salsa all the way to the burrito bowl with Carnitas, it was all great. The service was awesome, people, friendly, and the restaurant was extremely clean. Five stars I definitely recommend.

Oh my! What a consistent experience we have every time we stop by at this restaurant. It’s the most perfect Mexican place to take your friends and families to. Not only that they have the best service but they also have the best selection of food and condiments. The quality of food is always consistent to the taste and serving. The price definitely aligns with the serving and quality of food. Seafood selection comes with freshness to it on top of selected flavorful ingredients. A Manager that stops by your table making sure that your experience is the best is a great plus to the service provided.

Let me get this out of the way. I’ve been to their other location and I know the food is generally good. I ordered a Chorizo burrito today and it was okay.. Not good, just okay (I requested and paid for sour cream and avocado, barely got any)

Wow, we saw a sign on hwy 99 and made the trip to this place. 1st its authentic mexican food. 2nd its clean and well thought out. The salsa bar is fantastic and the food is excellent. We ordered the quesobirra tacos and yum!! You gotta stop by and get some food. We are about to get some fresh squeezed juice, i just need ro decide on what kind!!

Everything was freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. I had the taco combo with beans and rice my son the steak tacos and we tried the Talapia plate and it was crispy on the outside and moist and delightful on the inside with amazing flavor. We will definitely be returning again. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This place always hit a home run for me. Awesome salsa bar to go with your order. You’ll need to waddle out of here the portions are so big. I always come here when out this way for work and never regret it. Do yourself a favor and drop by for some tacos and a few cold ones.
