OUR STORY At La Estrella bringing people together has been our inspiration since opening the first location, 26 years ago, in Manteca, California. We now have 5 locations and 2 taco trucks. As we continue to open restaurants in the Central Valley, we continue to create more job opportunities for the community, while our extended family of guests and associates remains at the heart of what we do.

I haven’t been to this place in ages and decided to come in for a taco Tuesday. Adelina at the front register was super rude. She seemed annoyed when I couldn’t understand her But she was literally mumbling super low, and I could barely understand her. My husband wanted to leave, but we had already ordered our food so we just ended up staying. I have no complaints on the food. It was delicious, but the service was definitely not there. Adelina was rude and also the other lady was staring at me from the moment. I walked in and it was super uncomfortable.

We spotted this place while getting gas next door and are glad we dropped in. The food was very good. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. We were handed a bowl of chips with our number on it, very nice. They have a very good salsa/condiment bar to help yourself to. The menu is pretty impressive, from tacos to seafood dinners. The scrolling menu was a little annoying BUT it had great pictures of all the dishes so you knew what to expect. Portions are generous and the service was very good. The establishment was very clean to include the bathrooms.

The burrito bowl with shrimp was very good. All the ingredients were fresh. 4 oz guacamole was perfect for the solo eater. Fresh basket of chips and a delicious salsa bar. Cucumbers were a great addition on a warm evening.
The Hawaiian drink was very refreshing.

The food was mind bending good! Fantastic tacos, the condiment bat is amazing and my friend’s burrito looked crazy good as well. It ain’t cheap, but if you want to pay a bit more for a huge boost in flavor, definitely don’t pass this place up!!

Overpriced! I spent over 100 dollars for fajitas, pork torta, 2 tacos, steak quesodillia and 4 soda. Flour tortillas that came with the fajitas was disgusting with black marks. My wife didn’t want to eat it. I’ve been coming here for awhile and this never happened. But makes me dont wanna come back to this location.

Oh my! What a consistent experience we have every time we stop by at this restaurant. It’s the most perfect Mexican place to take your friends and families to. Not only that they have the best service but they also have the best selection of food and condiments. The quality of food is always consistent to the taste and serving. The price definitely aligns with the serving and quality of food. Seafood selection comes with freshness to it on top of selected flavorful ingredients. A Manager that stops by your table making sure that your experience is the best is a great plus to the service provided.

Beauty, Travel and Discover
This taqueria has great customer service. We visited and ate on site. They offer carryout and dine-in outside in the parking lot. The waitresses were seen cleaning the tables before we sat down to dine. They have public restrooms, they offer a variety of Mexican dishes. Everything looks good. They offer fresh squeezed juices, Micheladas, beer, aguas frescas and sodas. Food and price were great. The agua de Horchata was so good
