Just fabulous. We are from out of town, and this restaurant was recommended to us by some locals. It was absolutely worth it! The food is generous portions, the atmosphere and the vibe were really positive. The server was really helpful in helping us make food and drink decisions. We would absolutely come back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (If I could give 100 stars, I would!)
It was our first time visiting this authentic restaurant last Sunday, and it was absolutely outstanding! The food came out fresh with generous portions — perfect for sharing with the family. The ambiance made us feel like we time-traveled straight to Malaysia — warm, vibrant, and full of culture. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Highly recommend this gem — truly deserving of more than 5 stars!

We ordered Calamari, Malaysian Chicken Curry, Roti, Skewers and the Award Winning Beef Rendang!!!!

Diversity is delicious. Another international flavor is in The Woodlands.

Good food, very close to authentic. They have a good selection of both Malaysian and Indonesian staples like Nasi Lemak, Rendand and Nasi Goreng to name a few. Service is good and genuine. They also have a good selection of drinks and cocktails. Lots of parking.

As a Malaysian, if you travel abroad, out of blue you will start to remember the taste of Malaysian food, and I would say this place might satisfy that cravings.

The roti canai is the best. Not because we are really hungry but it’s really satisfying and meet our expectations.

Ikan bakar? Where else can you see the word “ikan bakar” in a menu in Houston? I might not travel a lot in Houston, but from all places I’ve been, this is really interesting approach to engage people to test out what is “ikan bakar”! The way it’s being grilled is the same in Malaysia with sambal. It’s good!

Kangkung with belacan? It’s just ok for me.

Sweet shrimp, I like it. The taste is just like how my mom makes it.

With white rice, it’s just like you are in tomyam restaurant back in Malaysia. Now, if it has “telur dadar” in its menu, that will complete the list of Malaysian food.

It’s also has “Malaysia Milk Tea” but it’s too sweet for me.. the taste of tea is lost in that sweetness .. but it’s ok because where else can you get beverage that has sweet condensed milk?

Only if they offer hot teh tarik during this winter season, that will be nice .

A lovely eatery with the back part of the restaurant with glass walls and feeling like youre in the woods. First time here and we were not ready for the amount of great food. Included are photos of the things we ordered but everything was top notch. The staff were very helpful in telling us how ordering worked, how spicy we could get things, and ended our birthday dinner with delicious roti dessert covered in powdered sugar.
Rendang chicken very tender. Not crazy spicy. Malaysian rice lovee. Thought the beets would make it weird but theyre small and dont take away from the flavor.
Would go back!

Good food but not explosive in flavor as true street food is in Malaysia. Good service, great atmosphere; however, pricey for it being regular street food – nothing fancy, Overall spent $40 per person, including two non-alcoholic drinks, and a beer. Ordered Roti Canai (plus add-on Roti) with Curry Sauce, Mee Goreng, Beef Rendang, and Tofu in Sizzling Pepper Sauce. Drinks and food arrived promptly – tastes and quantities were on point, although flavors were quite a bit muted as compared to the street fare on offer in Malaysia. Spice levels went from 1-5; ordered level 3-Thai spicy, which was just right. All in all a good Sunday late-lunch family outing – set us back $120+, though, including tax and tip! As I said, pricey….

Absolutely amazing. I’ve been here twice in a few months and both time were a wonderful experience. The staff are so friendly and kind and explain the dishes in a way. That’s very down to earth and relatable. The food was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in the Woodlands. The Woodlands foodie group actually recommended this place and they did not disappoint. The billionaire fried absolutely a favorite but to be honest, we loved everything we ordered. Go here!!

Pleasant staff.
Food here is not the same as Katy. (Although, I’ve only eaten at the Katy location when owner/lchef Alex Au-Yeung was alive.)
I don’t remember any of our dishes tasting like this previously.
The cocktail was delicious.

Checked out Phat Eatery last night. To keep things short, im looking forward to next time!
When the gf and I were seated, we were delighted to hear that they make dim sum on Sundays. Naturally, we had to get a handful! Each one was an explosion of awesome flavor. Along with the dim sum came some sticky and rice mushrooms, which we thought was tasty as well. Textures were nice, rice was slightly sweet and mushrooms tasted good. Took a little while to come out (not a bad thing at all), but the entrees came out even quicker.
I went with their char kway teow. I love rice flat noodles but I love seafood even more. The shrimp and calamari were cooked to perfection. The Chinese sausage and bean sprouts were delicious as well.
Gf decided to try the nasi lemak. The richness of the curry chicken was greatly accompanied by some peanuts and dried anchovies. Truly a tantalizing experience for your taste buds.
Overall, everything was spectacular and the food tasted very comforting. I recommend trying their Thai beer as it was a great accompaniment to both dishes as it was the most light and crisp brew Ive had. Staff was attentive and friendly, server Amber took great care of us. Check this place out, you won’t regret it.

This is my first time coming to this place. It’s kind of hidden. But the food was okay. Food is not as hot as I wanted to come out temperature wise. But it was not bad I got the Malaysian Curry chicken and roti. There’s five different spice levels, I got spice level 3 which was pretty decently hot(spice). It was very spacious, and I will see it quickly, the waitress was very attentive.
