Tried their goat biryani. Absolutely loved it! The rice was perfectly cooked and fluffy. The meat was tender and juicy. Full of aroma. Their Haleem was so rich and flavorful. Easily one of the most comforting dishes I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy an authentic biryani.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this experience genuinely made me do it. I ordered the food from Uber. Phani’s Handi Biryani has a lot of hype, and it’s not cheap either so I expected at least basic quality and proper cooking. Unfortunately, the biryani I received had undercooked mutton, to the point where it felt unsafe and completely ruined the experience.

What’s worse is this is not the first time I’ve ordered from here or experienced this. At this price point, customers shouldn’t be gambling with food quality. And honestly, serving undercooked mutton isn’t just disappointing, it’s a serious health concern.

Update after owner response:

The owner replied saying the photo “does not appear to match their style of preparation or serving.”
That’s honestly the easiest escape response when a customer posts proof.

This order was placed through Uber Eats, and I’ve already shared the order number, packaging, and photos. If you genuinely want to investigate, please check your Uber Eats merchant order history, it’s literally a 2-minute verification.

Also, I called your staff (the lady who answered) before ordering and spoke about special adjustments, so this is 100% your food and your preparation.

I don’t have the time or interest to post fake reviews. I posted because the goat/mutton was undercooked, and at your pricing + hype, customers shouldn’t be playing “guess if this is cooked today.”

Instead of questioning whether it “matches your style,” please focus on fixing the quality. Undercooked meat is not a presentation issue — it’s a health issue.

Excellent biryani, rich in flavour and well cooked. Served in handis of various sizes, making it ideal for different group sizes. Primarily a takeaway-focused place, but the quality and portioning are spot on. A great option if you’re looking for authentic, satisfying biryani. They also serve other menu items not just biryani which we tried chicken 65 was exceptional.

I’m extremely disappointed and honestly concerned after my recent Kheema order. The dish tasted spoiled and had a foul smell the moment I opened it. I couldn’t even take a single bite. It genuinely seemed rotten and unsafe to eat. I was planning to serve this for dinner to my kids, but there was no way I could risk their health.

Food quality like this is unacceptable and raises serious hygiene and safety concerns. Serving food that appears spoiled is not just bad service, it’s a potential health hazard. I would strongly caution others before ordering from here. This was a very upsetting and alarming experience.

We’ve tried their chicken, goat, and eggplant biryani, and each one delivered that true Hyderabadi dum biryani flavor with beautifully balanced, aromatic spices. The handis are freshly prepared, which makes a noticeable difference. Their mirchi ka salan is easily the best I’ve had in a long time.

One thing I really appreciate is the ability to customize the spice level to match your taste. They also offer a wide variety of appetizers, and my personal favorites are the Apollo fish and the chilli chicken — both consistently delicious.

I had a really great meal at Phani’s Handi Biryani recently and wanted to share!
The hundi mutton biryani was amazing. The meat was super soft and flavorful, and the rice was cooked just right. The spices weren’t too much or too little – everything tasted perfect. You can tell they put care into making it.
We also got the Chicken 65 as a starter and it was delicious. Nice and crispy on the outside, juicy inside, with just the right amount of spice. We couldn’t stop eating it!
The best part? The prices are really reasonable. You get plenty of food without spending too much, which is always a win. Plus, the staff was super friendly and quick with everything. They made sure we were happy the whole time.
If you’re looking for good biryani without spending a fortune, definitely check this place out. I’m already planning to go back soon!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but Phani’s Handi Biryani absolutely deserves one. From the very first bite, it reminded me of the kind of biryani you get back home—aromatic, flavorful, and made with real care. The meat was tender, the rice perfectly cooked, and the spice level was spot‑on without overpowering the dish.
What really stood out to me was the consistency. Every time I’ve ordered, the quality has been the same—rich flavors, generous portions, and that unmistakable “handi” aroma that fills the whole room. You can tell this isn’t rushed food; it’s crafted with pride.
If you grew up loving authentic biryani or you’re just craving something truly satisfying, this place won’t disappoint. Phani’s has become my go‑to spot, and I’m already planning my next order.
Highly recommended from someone who’s very picky about biryani.

This is my go-to place for authentic Hyderabadi food, especially their biryanis. I’ve been a loyal customer of PHB for a long time, and they have never disappointed me with their food, service, or hygiene.

I recently ordered the Haleem and Mutton Handi, and both were among the best I’ve had in the DFW area. The taste and quality are consistently excellent every single time.

Whenever I have friends visiting from out of town, PHB is my top choice — and everyone has always appreciated the food. Highly recommended!

If comfort had a flavor, this would be it. We ordered a Mutton Handi biryani arrives fragrant, perfectly layered, and cooked with the kind of care you can actually taste. Every bite feels balanced, the spice hits just right, and the portion leaves you happy without knocking you out. You can tell the kitchen respects the craft. Easily one of those plates you keep thinking about the next day. It tastes homemade in the best way, like someone cooked it for people they love
