Disappointing experience
We were the only customers in the restaurant for lunch and could clearly hear the microwave being used, which wasn’t very reassuring. Ordered the green curry prawn for $24 and it came with only 5 pieces of prawn. Rice wasn’t included and was an extra $3, which felt unreasonable given the small portion size. To make matters worse, both my friend and I had upset stomachs afterward. Overall, poor value and not an experience wouldn’t recommend

Unfortunately this place has seriously declined since my last positive experience 6 years ago. The Pad Thai was bland and served over a wilted piece of lettuce. The portion size has remained generous, but the amount of chicken was paltry. Service was good, but most worryingly the bathrooms were absolutely frightening. Cobwebs all over the walls, the floors absolutely filthy. The other restroom was filled with mosquitos suggesting that they’re breeding from an unknown source of stagnant water INDOORS! The restaurant is showing signs of serious neglect and I will not be coming back until it gets itself back in order.

, I am very disappointed , I popped in tonight for takeout. Ordered vegetarian pad, Thai vegetable, spring rolls, and chicken satay.
I was the only one in the restaurant at the time, and I heard them start preparing the food right away, I could actually hear the sizzling of something but perhaps they weren’t preparing my food?
The food came up very fast
I drove 10 minutes home and everything was stone cold , not even a little warm it was seriously cold.
The pad Thai is gluey. The vegetables are over cooked. The broccoli is almost yellow and the noodles were all stuck together in big clumps like it had been sitting there for a while.
The spring rolls were cold and greasy
The chicken satay was good but cold
I’m not sure what the additional sauce was that came with the spring rolls… But it had that really tangy powdered ginger flavor… and the rest of the ingredients seem to be cornstarch and water, see picture.
I am super disappointed not only because this was a waste of $50+ … but because I think this is the only Thai place in Duncan

Ordered delivery for 2 people. Came to $60.00 and there was enough food to feed a small child. The hot sour soup, with 1 piece of squid had no noodle or rice for $20.00. The satay chicken, $19.
00, was 4 tiny thin pieces of chicken and less than average taste. I never write reviews, but this was so pathetic, I had no choice.

One of the best Thai spots in the area. Much more than just Phad Thai. Nice lunch combo options. Fresh ingredients. Great service. Good parking options. Ample room for families and kids.

If you want Bangkok street food, this is the place for you. I’ve been to Bangkok, and this place is legit.
The older I get, the less spice I can tolerate, medium spice was too much for me. Next time, and oh yes there will be a next time. I’ll stick with mild.
This is my goto Thai when I’m on Duncan, it’s a hidden gem on the main drag.

Usually good food, especially when they use the thick coconut milk for their curry, which is seasonal as I was told. Today, we ordered take out red curry lunch amongst other dishes. My issue was that they combined the curry with the rice in one container, and unfortunately, all the curry was absorbed into the rice and I had no curry left for the meal. I called and spoke to the chef, and she said that is how they do it. I asked her if she likes to eat curry with no sauce, and have rice with all the sauce, and she said yes! lol. Doesn’t make any sense to me. Two orders in a row with issues. No making it right or offering to remake so I could enjoy the meal. I hope something will be adjusted with this review for the future. Make sure you ask for them to be separate as this is their best practice. Thank you.

While this is cooling i have to say the first couple bits were awesome! Prawns, chicken, vegetables, everything perfectly executed in my foodie opinion.
The vegetable spring rolls were awesome too. Especially with my sweet chili thai sauce.
Always nice when your first experience is positive.

Ordered take-out: red curry with prawns, double chicken, coconut rice, and an order of chicken satay. It was fantastic. The flavour of the curry was unreal. Chicken satay cooked perfectly with delicious peanut sauce. Total was 45$ with the extra protein added. I think I would have been disappointed if I didn’t add the extra meat. I ordered ‘hot’ but I’m wondering if they have an extra hot option as I didn’t find it very spicy. The rice was delicious and fluffy as well. 10/10 will be ordering again when I find myself in Duncan.
