Payed almost 22 for two potatoes and a hot dog. Hot dog wasn’t too good but Potatoes were great. Not much chicken, pork sour cream or BBQ sauce on them. But still great. We eat there often but Don’t order extra sour creme or BBQ you’ll be charged but you won’t get them. Been there done that. Just get some for the house and take them home

Haven’t been to a Petro’s in many years, not for any particular reason but decided to stop in as we passed by. The food was wonderful and somewhat reasonably priced. Everything we had was super fresh. Toppings on the nachos I had could be more plentiful and seemed like i would be left with a plate of chips. The kicker was this….. They’re a chili place… It would stand to reason that there would be chili on the nachos…. WRONG. Had to pay an extra $5.00 for the chili…. The guy at the register was new and rang my wife’s order up wrong. When I went back to the counter with two different hot dogs, a girl from the back of the place promptly corrected me letting me know that was how it was rang up. I explained that’s not how it was ordered…. That was somewhat off-putting. Sort of explains why the place was almost completely empty at lunch time on a Saturday with high school graduations all around the place.

I come here to get a gallon of tea for the sister-in-law from time to time. The people who work here have been nice to me even though I only get a gallon of tea. I prefer walking in as the drive thru usually has a line. Some day I may stop in for a quick meal. Petro’s has a frequent diner program so every 7th or 8th gallon I get is free. I bet if I ate here more often I would get more rewards. I did ask and they can customize an order to be Vegan which some folks I know are. As for me I would get a regular since i do not follow the vegan ways.

Chili on my Petro was extremely bland. I was very surprised. Hint of Orange Tea was very good as expected and drive-thru service was top-notch.

Was down in johnson city for a few days and decided to stop by and try it out. Really wasn’t that big of a fan of the place. Really the food all tasted like it was the great value brand from Walmart. The queso just tasted like monterey jack cheese with no queso quality.

Small chain restaurant atmosphere. It was not very busy when we were there but we still had to wait a few minutes for someone to come take our order. The Petro potato was very large, plenty of food reasonable price. The wedge salad was very good and also a generous portion. The cheese dip was okay. A few minor negatives there were a lot of tiny chips or chip crumbs with the chips and queso order, not ideal for dipping. The Fritos on the Petro seemed some what stale. Overall, the restaurant and bathroom were clean, there food was decent and not overpriced and the service was okay.

OMG! Barba Chicken baked potato! Absolutely a tastebuds delight. Ours was almost a 3 lb. potato loaded with onions, bacon bits, shredded cheese, etc.! Photo is 1/2 of potato!
