Living in Santa Barbara – Katinka Goertz
This is a local’s favorite Italian neighborhood restaurant. We took a friend visiting to this place – he couldn’t get over the pinwheel lasagne. Absolutely delicious (when this special is available).

Staff was super nice and the place was cute! As for the $32 pizza it was incredibly undercooked and unfortunately bland despite all our favorite and go to toppings being on their house special.
Crust was white as snow and soggy, never had pizza like that in a long time. Really unfortunate and disappointed. Happy to support a local business in town, but this was a waste of money for us.

It’s a good local Italian restaurant, we had dinner here on a Friday and we were able to be seated quickly albeit at the back of the restaurant near the restrooms. Service was pretty quick and amiable. We ended up with a few pastas and pizza, serving size was just enough and tasted pretty good. Prices for the quantity and quality of food were just right. Lighting was pretty subdued so I guess it makes for a good quiet place to dine.

We’ve been coming here for over 25 years. The quality has never changed; just delicious and authentic. We drive out from Goleta and it’s worth the drive. I got the Antipasto Salad and Garlic Bread and my husband wanted the Torpedo Sandwich. Both were excellent and you can see the servings did not disappoint. Thank you for a very lovely lunch !

Absolutely love the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommend!
We were visiting from the Bay Area and were lucky to find this gem. The restaurant was nice a clean and the workers were extremely friendly.
The food was extremely filling. Highly recommend the chicken picatta, baked penne pasta and the ice tea. Make sure to ask for the side salad and enjoy the bread sticks that come with the meal. Loved how they threw in the free dessert because it was one of our birthdays!

This place was busy on a Sunday afternoon. The food was good. We got some sandwiches. The service was lacking. Our waitress took sometime to come get our drink order. As we were going to place our food order she said as she walked away “keep looking at the menu, I will be back.” I feel she was a little rude to us, very blunt, no personality at all and definitely made us not want to return to this place. Maybe because we weren’t regulars, as she did seem a little nicer to the regulars. Either way service is important and I would not recommend to friends this establishment for the simple fact the service wasn’t great!

We stopped here while in Santa Barbara. Food was good, prices were fair, and the staff was great. Especially the waitress (didnt get her name) who was both funny and wise. What a gem! We’ll be back for sure.

Great Italian food! We often eat at Petrini’s when we visit Santa Barbara. The food here is always made to order. Victoria usually waits on us, and she has a great personality. I highly recommend this restaurant to visitors and locals looking for a great Italian restaurant.
