Tried the chicken garlic pizza, falafel, and the chicken kebob plate – everything was tasty and well prepared. The flavors were spot on and portions were satisfying. The baklava was excellent too, with lots of pistachio and not overly sweet. Solid Mediterranean food in a casual setting.

Petra was recommended as one of the top halal spots in SLO, and I’m glad I listened.
I wasn’t too sure what to expect from the outside, but after walking in I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, organized & stylish the interior is.
The service was fast & friendly, and after a short wait my BBQ Cilantro Chicken pizza arrived. It was fresh & delicious. The Rosewater Pudding was a sweet way to end the meal. The meal was pretty affordable too.
Some notes for Muslim diners. Petra has a rather extensive bar, in case you’re wary of alcohol. There is no pork on the menu, but the beef pepperoni & Canadian turkey bacon are not halal. Every other meat is halal though.
Overall, I think Petra is a must for anyone (Muslim or not) visiting SLO.

Rammy has done such a fabulous job with Petra II. I love the wood paneling, the furniture, the outdoor patio is beautiful!!!! I tried the chicken soup for the first time- so delicious on a cold day!! The chicken kabob was so good- yummy crunchy vegetables! Good luck- you don’t need luck- you’ve put heart and soul into your new place. Great job!! ❤️

Zooey E. was very sweet, smiling, delightful, and helpful at the register. Chicken with Garlic is my fav Petra pizza. Purchased small Petra beer tasting glass. Popular Petra for all ages…kids watch football. Good table service. Parking lot full later Friday afternoon October 24. I had to park down along Higuera Street.

We really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere at Petra Mediterranean Pizza and Grill. We had a Greek Feta Pizza, Mediterranean salad with garlic and lemon dressing and drinks. The food was so flavorful, full of Mediterranean flavors, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Petra for your next meal.

My father told me about the restaurant and he loved it . Tried it my self a few times now and I’m very happy . Amazing food, nice service, parking great , packaging is great . And every time I try I different plate and there is a lot I haven’t tried yet . I really recommend if you are in the area .
