Good food, enchiladas and tacos both were amazing, good salsa. Really good guac. They also have well done frozen margaritas. The staff on average are very young but work hard to get stuff to the table quickly.

Been here a few times and the food is always on point. We love their tacos, the chicken tortilla soup and their bowls. They don’t have my favorite salsa, BUT everything else is great. I also love that they use beef tallow over seed oils to fry anything. Would recommend!

Second time here, food was great just like the first time. Restaurant is clean and the music is pleasant. Only complaint was service. Our server barely spoke to us… we only knew her name because of the bill; Mia. We got chips and waited 10 minutes to put in a drink order, another 15 to order, but thankfully, food came out quickly. She set our plates down and walked away before I could ask for limes or more hot sauce. I waited but she never swung by… so ate my tacos cold and with no sauce or limes. Never got a salsa refill or drink refill, never asked if we needed anything, never asked if we liked our meal… nothing. We come here because it’s seed oil free but the 30 minute drive is certainly not worth it if we’re going to pay $20 for tacos or $20 for a burger just to be our servers afterthought during slow service.

We have been coming here for years. Menus update with new surprises from time to time. I’ve never been here and not seen one of the owners. Great food! The tomatillo sauce is beyond perfection.

Horrible service!! If there was a spot for zero stars I would have marked it. It was so bad that we never had any waiters come by our table even though there were two that walked past us no less than 4 times each. We sat there for over 15 minutes and finally decided to leave. They were so oblivious that the individual who dropped off the chips and salsa thanked us for coming in and when we told him we never got served he just stared at us. The hostess who seated us said the same thing and when we told her we never got served her only response was a half hearted “sorry”. No adult supervision that we saw. 1st and last time at this restaurant.

My wife and I tried this place for lunch while we were in that area. Their food was flavorful and the service was great. We ordered their queso which was really delicious, chicken tacos(we felt the chicken was little over cooked but still had the flavor), chicken tortilla soup was fresh and flavorful and their Salsa was nice and spicy. I would recommend this place.

We had been wanting to eat here for several months. I think the pictures of the food look better than what we actually experienced. Overall, I would rate this restaurant a 7 out of 10 – good but not great.

The atmosphere wasn’t anything special. I was expecting much more based upon the outside appearance. It was nice and clean, just not fantastic. A table cloth could have helped hide the scratched and chipped wood table.

The service started great, but went downhill over the next hour. The place was busy, but felt the service was just a bit above average.

The food has the potential to be very, very good. It’s kind of a scratch kitchen with locally sourced ingredients. Everything was very fresh. My main complaint is that everything was over spiced, and not just by a little bit. The true taste of the food was hidden by excessive seasonings. I gave the food 4 stars because it is fresh and plated well. But an hour after we left the restaurant we were still tasting spices. Our memory of the meal should have been the flavors of the food. The dessert was great, and I recommend the dark chocolate cheesecake.

Bottom line – I may come back here, but there are several other restaurants that are in this $20ish per plate price range where I would rather go.

Stopped by for lunch and tried the fish tacos – absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, and you can tell the place is run really well. Great value for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have been on a mission to find some really good Mexican food since moving to Texas and this definitely hit the spot.

We both had the taco sampler plate and it was very good. All of the flavors we tried were great.

Our daughter had the ground beef tacos and thoroughly enjoyed them.

Highly recommend this place!

I have had a fantastic experience with them! Regardless of how many times I visit, they remember my name and preference of Margaritas (which are AMAZING) It’s a family owned business and you can tell because it’s very caring and fulfilling. I can bring my family or just swing by myself and it’s the same great and enthusiastic service.
