The smell coming out is this place is always amazing, so I gave it a second go. The pretzels aren’t terrible, but they really lack the thick, chewy, brown crust you expect on a pretzel, so they’re more like a dinner roll that happens to be a fun shape. You can see how pale it is around the sides in the photo. Flavor isn’t bad, but a little sweet for my personal taste, which might be counterbalanced if the crust was better. The dips are good, and if you’re getting something basic, it makes a decent, cheap snack that you can grab and go. But they definitely fail to scratch the pretzel itch for me.

While the pretzels had decent flavor, the texture was lacking—dense and overcooked. The first one I received was visibly burned, and when I pointed it out, the staff member took it from me abruptly, tossed it in the trash, and told me to choose another. Unfortunately, that one was also burned on the bottom. The staff came across as rude and unhelpful, which made the experience even more frustrating. I would not recommend stopping here.

When I heard there were fresh hand-rolled pretzels in town, I had to give Petoskey Pretzel Co. a try. I’ve only ever had pretzels from Auntie Anne’s or Wetzel’s, so this was a delicious upgrade.
The small shop was packed, clearly a local favorite. I stopped in right after a workout to fuel the gains. I grabbed the cheese Pretza and the classic cinnamon sugar, both were phenomenal, especially the cinnamon one as a dessert.
If you’re anywhere near Petoskey, this spot is a must-try for pretzel lovers and newbies alike.

Great hangover cure. Not something I would recommend to everyone but there’s a time and a place and it hits the spot for me! The staff are really friendly too. There’s lots of touristy places in the area that can leave you feeling a bit short changed but I feel like these pretzels are great value for money. Pepperoni one is my favorite.

What can I say.. a perfect 5 out of 5 stars is something I don’t give to many businesses. They have to have the quality of service atmosphere and food. Who would have thought that a pretzel company would make such an amazing product that everyone loves. This company deserves it.

Great Pretzels! Just the right amount of sold and great flavor. Quick service. There is nowhere to sit, but is great for a quick grab and go or to take to the waterfront. Service was ok, they never asked me about cheese or dipping sauce which was strange. That should be the question they always ask before you pay. Forgot to get marinara for my pizza rolled pretzel, but it was still good. Biggest issue is its not a great location with no seating.

What a sad pretzel. It was flavorless and misshapen, no salt on top, and the cheddar sauce was awful. 90% of this ended up in the garbage.
There is no dine-in space here.

My hubby and I have wanted to try this place for forever and I am so happy and pleased that we finally did while vacationing to the area! These are a fire snack, oh my goodness!! You will not be disappointed!! We each had a Cheese Pretza and the mozzarella in them was so rich, creamy and thick, the breading was so soft and buttery and a little bit of garlic!! Oh they were super yummy!! We can’t wait to sample something else off their menu! Well worth the wait in line and make sure you grab more then one item!
