WOW. This was an incredible dining experience, I felt like I was eating at a Michelin star restaurant! ⭐️ The food was amazing, and I’ve never felt so catered to by the chef and staff! The gluten free lobster roll was great, and the short rib pineapple fried rice was absolutely incredible!!! Our food was covered in gold glitter and the presentation was beautiful!! Also, excellent Korean coffee and cheese cake!

So happy to have Petok in town! It’s an all gluten-free restaurant, and everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious, fresh, healthy, and full of flavor. I’ve had some of their baked goods, the pineapple chicken fried rice, and the teriyaki chicken, all so tasty!
The owners and staff are incredibly kind and helpful, especially when it comes to food allergies and sensitivities. You can tell they really care about creating great food and a welcoming experience for everyone.

AMAZING. Gluten FREE 10 We have been long supporters of Petok. They have created something amazing from starting as a supreme food truck, making you feel the true experience to opening a restaurant in Petoskey. Ways they source only the best ingredients and truly try and take care of everyone – it brings me back before covid. The service, the special touches, the hand offs, and checkins make it the experience you want. I even had them cater a special event for 10 people, and it was ABOVE AND BEYOND. I highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed. Plus, their baked goods are out of this world! Umm…..you have to have a million bar, their cheesecake servings are massive! Everything is fresh, clean, and filling! Portions meet every expectation. I have been holding out on giving them a review because I couldn’t find the words…I still don’t think this is enough. I am thankful to have them here offering everything they are. Thank you Petoks! ❤️

Not many restaurants make me feel like I am at home, Petok Culinary Experience did. If you have a gluten allergy it is a must. And if you love food and family it is a must. Don’t worry if you do not know what it is, it will be delicious. If you want macaroons order them before you sit down and guard them with your life.

As a life-long Celiac, it is refreshing to be able to actually taste that the food is made with love and a lot of consideration. It’s beautiful AND delicious!
I stopped for sweets, but definitely need to go back for a meal. All the treats were 5⭐️ spectacular, but I have to say that the Millionaire bar was the best thing I’ve eaten since… forever, and I’ll definitely be dreaming about it.
P.S Even my non-gf husband was blown away by how good it all was, and casually mentioned that he’d ‘love to crush an entire pan’ of the Millionaire bars!

Every time I’m in Petoskey, this spot is a must. The pineapple chicken is absolutely exquisite — perfectly balanced, flavorful, and something I crave long after I leave town. Honestly, it’s hard to find the right words to describe just how incredible the food is here. I also tried their coffee this time, and it was just as impressive.
I’m so happy to see them thriving in their brick-and-mortar space! The last time I visited, they were serving from their amazing food truck, so it’s been wonderful to watch them grow while still delivering the same outstanding quality. So well deserved — and still making phenomenal food.

They created a special batch of cinnamon rolls when my husband went to see if they had any pastries without soy or dairy! Then gave him an extra cinnamon roll because they had turned out a bit small, and said they’re hoping to make more soy-free items in the future. The cinnamon rolls are DELICIOUS, not just for being allergen-friendly, but they’re just amazing cinnamon rolls! We couldn’t be happier with everything, and I’m so grateful. Cannot recommend enough. We didn’t get pictures because we dug in as soon as my husband got home!

We are visiting from Ludington with the first meal stop being Petok Food Truck. Both of us are gluten-free, so this was on our must-do list. The menu looked good… even if prices seemed kind of high. We didn’t care because a 100% certified gluten-free food truck is a luxury to us. So we were willing to support that mission even if it was an expensive meal. Showed up and ordered. Alex was super nice and answered all our questions. It’s just a few minutes to prep our order, so he offered to bring it to the car (it was windy out, so didn’t want to sit outside in the cafe area.) When he brought the food out, we absolutely couldn’t believe our eyes: catering trays 12″ x 9″ x 3″deep FULL of food! Easily two or three meals for each of us!! Knowing this was all SAFE TO EAT was value enough, but the extra touch of being home made by Chef Alex, wonderful flavors and the serving size (which is not explained well on the menu) made this a highlight of our trip. Pics here show what we ordered. Just amazing. Bringing his corporate chef experience here from Hawaii and Miami at well-known, high-end hotels, this town is fortunate to have him here. I’ve read other reviews and acknowledge that everyone will have their own experience. But I want to remind everyone that this is his vision and he has never had his own gig before… he came up with this idea after moving here and cooking for his elderly grandparents who were at their respective end of life stages and being fed total crap food. Chef Alex is changing the eating landscape here in Petoskey, and you can tell his heart is in it. Fixing some issues along the way is par for the course. As long as he’s listening and making improvements, the Petok Food Truck has a bright future.
