We came here for breakfast — it’s a very nice place with polite servers, you can really feel the French vibe. The breakfast was delicious, and the pastries were fresh. Unfortunately, my croissant was cold, and I would have liked it warmed up, but the waiter didn’t offer. The potatoes were also cold, but everything else was excellent. I definitely recommend this place!

The food, atmosphere, and staff at Petite Provence are all top notch, but their croissant game is world class. In terms of texture, flakiness, and baking quality I’d confidently say this is one of, if not the best croissants I have had stateside in a very long time. It came with a raspberry jam that complimented it perfectly.

The bloody mary bar had great options and the salmon brunch dish was excellent, but seriously, those croissants. Everything else paled in comparison. 10/10, highly recommended.

Petite Provence is a gem!

From the moment you walk in, you’re met with the comforting aroma of fresh-baked pastries and warm hospitality. The croissants are perfection—flaky, buttery, and clearly made with care. I was blown away by the Ultimate Polenta Cake—so moist and flavorful, it felt like a special occasion all on its own.

What really sets this place apart are the homemade touches. Their house-made hot sauce and ketchup are full of flavor and unlike anything you’ll find in a bottle. And don’t skip the raspberry jam—sweet, tart, and clearly made with love. Whether you’re popping in for the bakery or staying for a full meal, this place delivers on every level.

Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates thoughtful, delicious food in a cozy, inviting setting!

This is a great brunch spot. The food and drinks are delicious. Our favs are the French onion soup, French toast, and baked eggs. My husband enjoys the corned beef hash, but today we had the burger, and it was really well-made. And their pastries! The original croissants and house-made jam are a must. The almond croissants are very decadent and such a treat. We keep coming back over and over again.

I got a croissant breakfast sandwich and fresh orange juice and it was good. I gave them 3 due to the servers’ behavior. She brought me the final bill when I still had half of my plate full and before I even ask for it! Moreover, she rushed me to give my card to her as soon as my plate was empty!
Just as a heads up! Not all pastries are freshly made on a daily basis (some are made daily though). Overall, it wasn’t a great experience! I hope they train their server’s to be kinder and provide a better customer service!
Also their utensils wasn’t very clean!

Petite Provence has kept its place at the top of my list of favorite places for breakfast, and it’s probably the spot where I’ve impressed the most visitors to the city.
They maintain a smallish menu, making sure everything on offer is done flawlessly.
It’s also a terrific place to grab a bag full of pastries to go, or get a special loaf of bread.
Everything about this place makes me wonder why I let too much time go by between visits.

You can get it all here – breakfast, sandwiches, coffee, pastries (not just for breakfast anymore), bread to go. Regardless of what you choose, it’s all good. My wife’s all-time favorite tuna sandwich is the one that you’ll find here. The breakfasts are the part of the menu that I enjoy the most. It’s been quite a while since I’ve had dinner here – I always enjoyed their light menu, but a look at their web site shows that they’ve expanded the dinner offerings quite a bit. All in all, this remains one of my favorite spots on Division, regardless of the time of day.

This is one of multiple locations in town. The food is exceptional, whether you intend to simply have a pastry and coffee or a full lunch. Indoor seating is plentiful, but it can still be a wait for an inside or outside seat if you arrive between 1130 and 1230 during the lunch rush-hour, or late morning on the weekends. It is not noisy indoors, and the seats on the 2 lane Division Street have tolerable street noise. It is popular, for a reason.

This is a 4.5. Perfect French bistro with all the charm and pastry skill you can handle.

The Baked eggs were savory and filling, but you have to wait for it to, you know. Bake.

The pastry are the highlights here. Wowzers.

Pistachio latte was perfectly balanced and temperature.

Come visit any of the 7! Locations

The food was subpar. I ordered the BLT and it was oozing in grease. I have never had a greasy BLT. I am suspicious it was due to the croissant being used as bread. However, the flavor was very bland. And, we ordered take out, so the customers who order the pastries and bread that are sitting in the restaurant are not viewing the excessive amounts of fruit flies that were all over everything!!! I watched employees casually wave their hands to scatter the fruit flies before a customer approached to buy the delicious looking fruit fly laden pastries (if they only knew!). Fruit flies can spread ecoli and other germs. And, while common, they are almost infestation level at this location. The facility should take measures to cover the food in display cases in order to reduce their infestation. Very, very disappointed and paid way too much for what was provided. They need to take the time to eradicate the issue or at least reduce the problems.
