My wife and I just came back from a very tasty and filling dinner. When we went out, our ownly criteria was to find somewhere “cute” to eat. So, we went for a walk through the town of Pawling and came across “Petite.”
It is petite in size and looks like a place in Manhattan. They serve only crepes. Some are desserts others are meals. They were very filling and the presentation of the food was impressive.
They cooked gluten free, which is very important to me, and their prices were good too.
Lastly, the french fries were unbelievable. They make them there fresh, fry them in peanut oil, and they are the best I ever had.

Excellent lunch with a friend, very well designed space with thought put into everything. The food was delicious. My only caveat is that it took a long time to get our order even though there were only two other tables occupied. It is worth a trip to Pawling and I will definitely be returning.

I want to talk about the burger at this place. It is huge and really really good. Top it off with their fries and a desert crepe (if you can manage it) and this place gets 4 stars in my book.
