The most fabulous French restaurant all over U.S. Visiting from CA and I was very surprised of how authentic the foods are. Literally it feels like I am in Paris. Highly recommend their escargots and onion soup. One of the best escargots I’ve ever tried including from Paris. The service was top of the line too. Very courteous and accommodating. Thank you for the great experience.

I visited Petit Pomeroy for a solo dinner in early July of this year. It was on my mind all summer and even now, I find myself wishing we had one on the East Coast. Chris was my server and he provided an excellent dining experience. He knew the menu, checked in at appropriate times, and was clearly very experienced in fine dining. His service alone would be enough for me to come back on my next trip to Chicago. Overall the food was delicious and I’ve listed details below.
TUNA TARTARE NIÇOISE:
Haricot Verts, Cured Egg Yolk, Potato Gaufrettes
10/10 – Texture pairing was PHENOMENAL. The crisps are sooo thin, they basically crunch and melt when you eat them. Sauces were delicious, scraped the plate.
MACARONI AU GRATIN:
10/10 – Gruyere was excellent, the cheese pull was beautiful and every single bite had a rich slightly nutty flavor.
Bœuf Bourguignon
Braised Short Rib, Pommes Purées, Root Vegetables, Red Wine Jus
8.5/10 – Beautifully plated and cooked to perfection in terms of texture. The meat tasted slightly undersalted, jus felt a bit light on the tongue, and I would’ve liked more puree.
LA BELLE COCKTAIL:
Gin, Braulio, Cranberry Jam, Lime
10/10 – Sharp then sweet like sour patch candy. I was genuinely sad that I finished it so quickly.
APPLE TARTE TARTIN
Puff Pastry, Caramel Apples, French Vanilla Gelato
10/10 – Puff pastry layers were such a great match for the apples. The caramelized top reminded me of old school pineapple upside cake in the best way. Homemade gelato was very balanced and had a perfectly creamy texture. I could eat this every day, wow.

French onion soup didn’t have a full bed of cheese melted on top. Most pictures have more cheese on top. Not sure why it was lacking cheese. Burger was solid but the I felt the caramelized onions were a bit overpowering the taste of the patties. Service was good and atmosphere was solid.

Such an amazing food experience! The restaurant was so cozy and calm. The waitress was super nice! Ordered the three course menu that was available from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm. It was phenomenal! Highly recommended for your special date night and celebrations!

The restaurant is very cozy and immediately reminds us of the Parisian atmosphere! The service, starting with the hostess, plus all staff is impeccable. We loved the menu and made excellent choices. Highlights include the lobster risotto, served on Mondays, and the divine onion soup. The desserts are perfect, and the profiteroles are the best I’ve ever had. We loved the experience! I highly recommend it.

My wife and I have spent a decent amount of time in France, and we both thought this was one of the most authentic French restaurants that we have ever been to in the US. They say you can judge a French restaurant by its chicken, and the chicken with mustard sauce that I had last night was amazing. It was a very generous portion to boot. Everything else we had was great, and nearly everything else on the menu sounded amazing. The Prix Fixe menu was a great deal as well. I can’t wait to come back!

Always excellent. Intimate bar. Instead of the bar at Sophia Steak, visit Christiane at Petit Pomeroy Wednesday through Sunday.

The most wonderful experience from start to finish. We were celebrating my dad and they went out of their way to make his night special! The hostess knew the occasion and gave us personalized menus, the server and manager congratulated him multiple times, and we even received a complimentary champagne and desert. Shannon our server was so warm and helpful and our food was excellent. Honestly the best French onion soup and creme brûlée that I’ve ever had. The ambience is lovely as well. This restaurant is worth every penny and we can’t wait to return.

We celebrated the birthday last week, the customer service was so great, they prepared the menu with your name on it to surprise you. Highly recommend if you have some special occasions need to celebrate.
For food, we were a little bit disappointed by some entrees, like Escargots, it’s really bland, and maybe the snails were not too fresh, they tasted really bitter. And for their daily special – scallop, portion is really small, hope they can give some more sides. But chicken liver mousse is outstanding, Bouillabaisse is worth the money.

I don’t think the quality reflects the price point. Steak tartare was delicious, but the crème brûlée was overly sweet; the main dishes also didn’t feel up to par at their price points. Environment is nice and service was perfectly fine.
