Affordable & delicious authentic Mexican flavorful food and good customer service.
The lady at the counter n grill was courteous towards me.
I just wish they had fish in their Menu but Elas.
Both my Chicken Torta and Bistec Burrito was delicious.
I’ll definitely stop by again if I’m coming to town; if the Most High Almighty AHAYAH The Creator is willing.
The Latino Market is full of goodies as well.
Please add Fish to y’all Menu again.
Thanks

Flavor filled steak tacos (without grease) and a delicious elote cup. This little restaurant inside the grocery will meet your hunger needs with an affordable menu.

We are not from Bloomington so when we do go to visit we enjoy stopping by Lupitas to pick up a few things. It’s nice that there’s a restaurant inside the store now although we have not had the chance to eat there yet. Love huge variety of items that are for sale in the store including cookware. Always our favorite Mexican grocery store to stop at!

It’s a small supermarket with a restaurant next to it, I was told they’re in the process of transitioning to a new owner. Unfortunately I have to take this as the cause of the poor service I received, food was good but they didn’t have the full menu available. Hopefully they will take better care of customers under the new ownership.

Had to start out by trying the tacos – the Chorizo was my favorite; flavorful and a bit of heat. The taco Al Pastor (pork) was tender and a close second. The steak Carnitas wasn’t as good – didn’t have as much flavor and the cut of steak used was similar to what I’ve had for fast food. Still, well worth it, and I am looking forward to trying their Chori-Pollo burrito on another visit.

First time customer, and on the grocery store side the people were very pleasant. However, that drastically changed when going to the restaurant side. The young lady in there is super rude, she walked off on my daughter while she was placing an order then she rolled her eyes as she handed her the order. Walked off again when we tried to pay, I asked the guy could he ring us up he refused and called her. She came and began doing other things before cashing us out on our Togo order. I will never enter that restaurant again.

Front of restaurant doesn’t look like they’re open. There were multiple TVs sitting at the host station. No signage saying you have to walk to the kitchen to place an order after they just stare at you. No menu; they only have tacos, burritos, and tortas. I make it a point to support locally owned; not chain restaurants. The quality of food isn’t consistent. A few weeks ago, my burrito was great; today was mediocre at best. The part that really took away stars was the pricing. A basic burrito has gone up to $9.99 before tax with no avocado/guacamole or drink. Inflation, food costs…I get it….I’m choosing to support a locally owned business. So after tax, I notice my receipt doesn’t match what she told me the total was. There’s a 4% “Non-cash Adjustment” that was never mentioned and no signage pushing the total to $11.29 for a mushy chicken burrito.

The chicken quesadilla was good the hubby asked for onions and peppers but they didn’t have peppers and they didn’t grill the onions before they put them in. The guys cooking and taking the order have zero customer service skills. I bet if they tried really hard to be polite and show that they appreciate people coming all the way to their business they would have a busy little place. We went in about 1:30 and no one was there to eat. They expect you to stand exactly at the right place to order but where exactly is that? No one tells you before they treat you bad for not knowing. Even though the food was good we won’t be back. They need to learn how to appreciate customers

Went at 6:20 on a Sunday night, nobody else there should have been our first clue. Sign said to seat ourselves, after 10 minutes, we went and found someone to ask for a menu. They said they’d be right out. After 25 minutes. A guy did come out to say they only had tacos. No chef, so that’s all they could do. No vegetarian option, so we left. I understand staffing issues these days, but come say something as soon as we walk in, not 30 minutes later. We could here a few people talking in the back and the guy that finally came out had been looking out of the kitchen at us several times.
