I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and so pleasant — the perfect diner vibe for a relaxing meal.

Donna, our waitress, is incredibly attentive, sweet, and thoughtful. She goes above and beyond with her kindness, always checking in with a genuine smile.

The food is consistently delicious — fresh, flavorful, and satisfying every time. The entire restaurant, including the bathrooms, is exceptionally clean and well-kept, which I appreciate so much.

One of my favorite little touches is their bowl of Charms lollipops — a childhood favorite of mine. I grab a lollipop or two every single time I visit, and it honestly makes me smile like a kid again. I may have even started a tradition, because I take one or two every time I go!

If you’re looking for great service, amazing food, cozy ambiance, and clean surroundings, look no further than Petit Gourmet Diner. I’ll always be back — and yes, I’ll be grabbing my lollipops too! ✨

This is not a north East diner. This is a gourmet restaurant. Leaning towards the French side. Besides French dishes they have some Mexican dishes, sandwiches, and salads. The food is fantastic. The sides are fantastic. The service is great. This restaurant is REALLY great. Can’t recommend it enough. They serve beer and wine. Any other alcohol I did not ask about.

Very good food at reasonable prices. For appetizers, I had the goat cheese salad with shaved fennel and tomato. I liked it. I also had the escargot, simple and phenomenal. For the entree I had the jumbo shrimp with asparagus and French fries. Also had the chicken piccata with green beans and mashed potatoes. Big portion size and perfect breading.

I always get nervous when a restaurant includes “gourmet” in its name (it’s not really an adjective), but we really enjoyed this place. Hearty, dinner-sized portions, mashed potatoes were clearly hand-made. Service was attentive, atmosphere comfortable.

Consistently the best of the best… Eric and the whole gang offer great service, great food… The steamed mussels are fantastic… The escargot are delectable… The soups of the day, yum!!! Try the crab cakes, they’re tender, meaty with a great spicy kick… The churrasco steak, as it should be… Tender medium rare perfection… In fact, every meal we’ve savored has been mouthwatering delicious… & the desserts, “oh my”!!!… My compliments to the chef/kitchen… Always a fabulous gastronomical experience…

Hidden gem. Was surprised when the server told me they’d been around for 40 years and the server himself had been with the company for 25 years (which says a lot about ownership). Apparently this location is a new one and they were in the silver aluminum dinner that used to be on US1, I remember it being there pre-COVID.

I had the crab cake appetizer which was beyond delicious! I’m a person who orders crab cake every time, if I see it on the menu, so naturally I had to try there’s. Honestly I was shocked at how much I loved it. If you like a bit of heat, you have to order this.

For my main, I went basic. I ordered the 4 cheese ravioli in a pink sauce. The sauce choices we’re Alfredo (which I would never order), red, or pink. The pasta is not made in house which is disappointing. And as far as the dish itself goes, it was mediocre. This is probably a dish better suited for a child’s pállate.

Ordered one glass of Pinot Grigio, which was lovely. The service was superb. The server paid close attention to detail, brought me bread whenever I’d run out. I didn’t wait long between courses at all, which was perfect as I had an appointment next door.

This isn’t a place I’d go to specifically for ambiance as the decor is nothing to write home about and the music choice is odd for the setting. But I will definitely come back for a quick quality meal (avoiding the pasta this time around) and good service.

I love this diner. However I do not appreciate having dogs in a dining establishment. I am not referring to service dogs. Bringing your pet dog to a restaurant is not appropriate. I avoid establishments that allow dogs. In spite of what people believe, dogs are animals. I love dogs but would never bring one to a place where food is served. If you have a fear of dogs or are allergic to them, I suggest you avoid this establishment. People’s need should come first, not their pets. That is what dog parks are for.
