This was one of the most unpleasant ice cream shop visits I’ve ever had. The service was painfully slow, and the girl behind the counter looked like she hadn’t showered in days. No hairnet, long dirty-looking nails, and overall just extremely unhygienic. I was literally praying she wouldn’t be the one touching or making our food. On top of that, her baggy shirt kept exposing her bra, which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional for any workplace—especially one serving food.

There was also a new guy working, and even though he clearly didn’t know what he was doing yet, it was his first day, so I don’t blame him for the mess.

The only reason we didn’t walk out was because the manager finally came out and took over. The difference was night and day. He made our ice cream quickly, correctly, and gave us generous portions. He was friendly, professional, and 100% the only person there who seemed to know what he was doing.

If it weren’t for the manager, this place would’ve gotten a flat-out 1 star from me. The hygiene and professionalism issues with the other staff member were unacceptable and need to be addressed immediately.

Came here for a date night. Got served melted ice cream in a cup. Overall, ice cream tasted good, but for this kind of price range I would expect Ice-cream and not soup. If you are in the area and looking for excellent Ice-cream at a better price I suggest going to Scoops and Sliders instead. Their service is much better and the quality is unmatched.

the blonde girl, addison, was very rude when my friend asked for an allergy scoop and had an attitude the rest of the transaction. and on top of that her hair was a mess and not tied back, had long acrylic nails and didn’t wear gloves OR wash her hands when handling an allergy. and kept glaring in our direction after the fact.

Wow. This place. It’s always been hot or miss at best, but tonight……

Walked in and up to the counter to the young gentleman at the counter. No hello, no acknowledgement at all. Stood there for quite a while refusing to look up or make contact, until another employee came out.

Gave us the wrong sizes, told they are out of pretzels. Plus tonight the store was filthy. Smudges, crumbs along with all kinds of bits and bobs on the counter.

They seemed put out that we even came in.

Very disappointed. We have been coming in less and less and this is why.

The ice cream tasted good, but as soon as she scooped it into the cup, it already looked semi-melted. I live 6 minutes from the store and by the time I got home, there was a puddle in my boyfriend’s hands from holding the cup. It had melted everywhere. I suggest turning the freezers to a colder temperature because the heaters in the store may be making the ice cream very soft…

Everytime I walk into Coldstone and see James, Kendall, Alex, Owen, Landin or Gavin working I know i’m about to the service of a lifetime. The energy they bring makes it worth the trip everytime and they just offer the best icecream experience possible. Every one of them deserves a raise no matter how much they’re making, they’re doing a PHENOMENAL job.

Did a doordash order and paid it over an hour ago and my dash driver messaged me and told me the worker there by the name of Hallie said she would not make our order till all the people there inside the store were taken care of first. Regardless if our order was put in well before other people started showing up.. So I called and she was extremely snarky with attitude.. Cold stone needs to fire her..

Bro, they gave me a free cup of Gummy Bears as my add in. Definitely the highlight of my week. The staff is amazing and the ice cream is fantastic! Lowkey, I might take a girl on a date here.

With all the negative reviews about service and the lack of good help, why, oh why is this place still like this?!? Doesn’t the manager or owner check these reviews? They’re written for a reason, and not just for prospective customers.

There were 4 employees that I saw when we arrived. One customer ahead of us. Only one table occupied. NOT busy! We waited to be helped. When someone finally came over to help us, we told the girl one of the items we wanted. She just stood there looking dumbfounded. We repeated the item, pointing to a picture on the case. This seemed to be possibly a new winter item (pumpkin). The girl had to go ask someone what it was. I don’t have a problem with employees needing to check the recipe for new items, but why aren’t they instructed about new items and where to check the recipe?!? This girl was clueless. Where are the memo’s about new or seasonal items?

For our second item, I verified first, if they had hot fudge or whipped cream. Since they didn’t have hot fudge, I asked for their chocolate sauce and whipped cream on top of my ice cream…like a sundae. I noticed that the girl (a different girl) was getting ready to mix everything together. I stopped her and explained that’s not what I asked for. I explained…again that I wanted the fudge sauce and whipped cream on top of the ice cream, like a Sundae. Really? Do these girls listen? Are they completely clueless to everything? I couldn’t stop laughing when she finished and handed me my ice cream with that squirt of fudge and that itty bitty one squirt of whipped cream.

Once I started eating, I realized there was no caramel. It’s included in the selection I picked. The only way to get another one made in replacement, was to purchase another one, or add the caramel to the existing one. Adding the caramel just wasn’t the same since my ice cream had already softened. The caramel just blended into the ice cream instead of having ribbons of caramel throughout. They refused to start from scratch even though they made it wrong.

Where are the managers? The owners? If they insist on hiring these young high school kids, why aren’t they being trained? It looks like the managers also need some training on training their employees. Last time for me going there.

I’m sadded to say that this store is a sorry mess. I love their ice cream, but this location is awful. After going 5 or 6 times, every experience has been dismal. The ice cream has been melty most times. The service is always slow. Last week when we went in, there were 4 young female employees. There were eight people in line and 4 of them left after a 30 minute wait. It’s only because 3 of them were in front of us that we waited ‘only’ 30 minutes to get served.

I’ve also tried ordering through doordash and every time the order has come with missing items, wrong ice cream, and wrong sizes EVERY time. They never have items for the ice cream cookie sandwiches or the ice cream tacos, which I know are made in house.

I genuinely wish there was a second location I could visit for creamy, smooth, frozen ice cream. Instead, I’ll be visiting Sonic for their blizzards, instead.
