Idilic spot to get some work done in the evening. Plenty of shade, top tier wine selection at a fair price, super tasty snacks (oops I ate one before I took the pic), relaxing music, free wifi, and just the loveliest staff.

This place is a GEM. An absolute must go if you’re in beautiful Alpine TX

Amazing place! We spent a couple of nights in Alpine on our way west and were super happy to find this place!
It really felt like a great family business with super friendly people around. Coming from France (tourists in the US), we absolutely approve their menu and selection of wine 🙂

looking forward to come back in in the future!

This is the kind of place you’d be lucky to find in a town many times the size of Alpine. The owner has socked her proverbial cellar with interesting wines from around the world. The food was also phenomenal, with delicious options for everyone, including the vegans in our party.

My husband and I were visiting SW Texas, and we stopped in Alpine. After dinner, we walked around town, and we ended up on Murphy Street. The train was at the station blocking our path, so we ended up having drinks at Petit Bijou. The owner kept the place open for us and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip. She also suggested a nice cabernet to end my evening. Great atmosphere and friendly vibes!

Great experience. Plan to spend a couple of hours. Enjoy wine and whatever delicious bites of food you are offered. It feels like a European countryside cafe. So quaint and charming 🙂
