Elkhorn Grill and Deli in Hungry Horse MT was a wonderful find. We enjoyed Buffalo and Elk Burgers as well as Sausage White Bean Soup and a Huckleberry Soda. A fellow diner told us the Pastrami sandwich he had was the best ever.

Adorable restaurant! They had candles and other goods for sale. Their food was excellent. I got the hot pastrami and sauerkraut sandwich which was delicious. They have the best potato soup I’ve ever eaten! My husband got the buffalo sloppy joe and it was amazing, had just the right amount of habanero for a perfect taste. We will definitely eat here again on our next trip to Montana!

We came upon this place and stopped for lunch. I had the elk burger(pictured) and my father had the bison burger. Both were well cooked and had a nice flavor. Staff was friendly. They had both indoor and outdoor seating.

We went there several times while on vacation. Bought cheese and meats for picnics, but heard their tacos were good. Last time there, we ordered two tacos each. Big mistake, or better put, BIG tacos. They are huge and tasty. We should have ordered one each. Next time, and we will be back. Friendly service and great food. Lots of typical tourist stuff, but the jalapeno beef sticks are the best I have ever had. Cant remember the name, but get the large loose pack. Definitely a fan of Elkhorn Grill.

My husband and I had lunch at Elkhorn Grill while staying in West Glacier and we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is really like key with very friendly ladies working the order and fulfillment counter. Seating is primarily outside on picnic tables, very casual. I ordered the pastrami Reuben and my husband ordered the buffalo sloppy joe sandwich. My Reuben was just the way I like it. Great rye bread with not too much meat and lots of great sourcraught which tasted home made. My husband loved his buffalo sloppy joe too. The meat was very flavorful and it had onions and habanero peppers. Spicy and delicious. We would definitely recommend this place for a great local experience.

We ate at this quaint deli twice it was so good! First time was for lunch and had the #7 roast beef sandwich. It was delicious! My son had the turkey and cheese and he loved it! Went back the following morning for breakfast and we all had the bacon and egg sandwich. Again delicious! Biscuits and gravy done right with big chunks of sausage. We will be back!!

The Elkhorn Deli was the perfect stop after a long day of exploring Glacier Park. We ordered the Elk burger and Buffalo burger that were both fantastic!! The cashier/waiter Mason was extremely friendly and hospitable! I would highly recommend this family run restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal!!

The restaurant is clean and staff friendly and attentive. We ordered an elk burger and a buffalo burger (both about $15 each). Both were cooked perfectly, condiments fresh, buns nicely toasted.
The baked beans on the side were to die for … saucy, spicy, and full of bacon.
The only potential drawback for some diners is the Grill doesn’t serve french fries and not all sides are made on site.

Awesome gluten free option here! The most flavorful burger patty I had the whole time I was in Glacier, & the gluten free bun was great! Ate here two days in a row, as service was great as well. Also have some yummy popcorns for snacks.

Fun place to visit. They have lots of unusual candles and canned things for sale, as well as lunch to order and eat in. We split an elk burger and had their soup of the day. It was delicious. They had pork hocks from the amish on sample which were wonderful, and of course my husband then had to buy a jar.
