Traditional Italian cuisine served in multiple dining rooms, plus a small bar & brewery on site.

I know this may be an unpopular opinion, but I was not impressed with the food here. We were heading back to town after the holiday and decided to stop in for dinner on our way back. Having heard raving reviews, we were excited. First, you do get a lot of food. But, it’s just meh. The antipasti plate is a couple squares of cheese, some green olives and some pepperoncinis. The salad is just lettuce and dressing- no tomatoes, no cheese, not even an onion. Literally lettuce in a bowl with a very vinegary dressing. I got the Italian dinner, which meant just the buffet, with no additional entree, so the spaghetti was my meal. It was okay, but I really felt like a jar of Classico sauce would have been better than theirs. It just had no flavor. Hubs got the lasagna and said the same thing- we could have made better at home. Was really disappointed, most likely will not be back.

This is an unique place if you haven’t been here before. Monday to Friday, they have lunch menu, other time it’s dinner menu, family style. They offer a huge portion of family style food, so bring the whole family. They have individual room for different size of family, very private.

This place is legit Italian food! The portions are HUGE. Before the entree you ordered comes out, they serve you a giant plate of spaghetti, a side of meatballs and ravioli and a salad with garlic bread. Pete’s is the home of Choc Beer and they have all four varieties on tap. We tried them all and they are all quite good. My personal favorite was the dubbel. Our waitress was fantastic and the whole experience of eating there was enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

So we tried Pete’s place in Krebs ok.. well ok here’s my honest review.. we sat down immediately no wait so that was great.. but sat for over 10 minutes an had to get up and ask if anyone was going to serve us.. #1 red flag.. lol server showed up she was nice.. the salad OMG!! Yuck!! Nothing but vinegar taste lol couldn’t do it.. so the cheese and bread YUM!!! That was delicious!! My wife got spaghetti it comes family style so it was huge! Came with meatballs and ravioli.. an I got chicken fettuccine Alfredo.. she liked hers and mine was really good!! An of course our service dog got a grilled chicken breast.. hold crap that was 70$ before tip..that was damn expensive.. but for most part it was good and u definitely have left overs lol and I liked the little private rooms u sit in.. so overall was pretty good experience beside few hiccups lol

My family visited Pete’s last weekend for my brother-in-law’s birthday. We had a large group and our server never missed a beat. You would think with that many people, one person would struggle, but she was always right there. We never had to ask for anything. Pete’s is nice because every party has their own private room, so it is a cozy home atmosphere. It was a wonderful time with family, food and great memories. We all left stuffed. If you go to Pete’s and leave hungry, that is your own fault. With each entree, you get complimentary spaghetti, meatballs, bread and antipasto plate. Delicious food.

It’s at best ‘okay’. Its NOT a quick stop when driving down the highway though. Being family style, the portions are enormous and not recommended for solo diners.
Meatballs were meh as well. Still good value if you have a large group or eat a lot

This place is definitely not worth the money. The private dining rooms are a nice touch, and they do have a solid beer selection—though it’s an odd pairing with a pasta-focused menu. Unfortunately, the food itself was very mediocre. For the prices they charge, I expected much better.
The service was also disappointing. We had a large group, but we made a reservation, so they should have been prepared. We were given one serving of pitcher of water and never received refills, even after asking several times. I ordered a beer that didn’t arrive until I was nearly finished with my meal. My lasagna entrée took an extremely long time to come out, and the “all you can eat” spaghetti, meatballs, and ravioli dishes were also slow to arrive and cold. We only received one bread basket serving.
By the time we got the bill, it was another mess altogether. Overall, the experience was frustrating from start to finish. I would not recommend this restaurant. Save your money—you’ll get far better food and service at the nearby Modo Mío Italian place.

Food here is great and extremely plentiful. I ordered the chicken parm and they brought me a big salad, antipasto plate, and a giant platter of spaghetti and meatballs with raviolis. Everything was great and I would gladly go back if I find myself in Mcalester again.

Pete’s Place serves meals family-style with endless plates of salad, spaghetti, meatballs, ravioli, and garlic bread. Their story is pretty amazing. A fun place to go with great food.

What can I say? Our favorite Italian restaurant to go in eastern Oklahoma. Great tradition and always good service and food. We usually get the “setup” which includes ravioli, meatballs and spaghetti. All you can eat!
