Admittedly I haven’t eaten at Pete’s in years. My Grandma and well like a hundred relatives live in New Richmond and I grew up eating Pete’s take-out and their buffet. So so so many family gatherings at that buffet. I wish the inside was reopen and it functioned like a real restaurant again. -Anyways, I’m stopping by and getting take-out tonight for my trip to my grandmas, I’m excited to try it again after about 12 year break and I hope it is as good as my memories

Last time I was there they were closed on Monday…then closed again on Tuesday with a sign that would be open for dinner…and they needed cooks.
My coworker and I stopped here because we were hungry and there were a ton of cars in the parking lot. I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was really good. We got a thin crust Hawaiian pizza. There was a buffet but we didn’t get that. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town! I have also added it to my restaurant list for the New Richmond area!

I love pizza! But have not found the taste of pizza from the East side of Milwaukee. I think Pete’s is very close but the ingredient missing from a true Italian pizza is fennel seed.

Lived in NR for years and finally gave Pete’s a try. I’m am pizza conesour so heres the rub-
If you like a sweeter pizza sauce like me, 5/5 on the sauce.
I havent tried any pasta dishes there, but I would hope they use a savory tomato sauce. The crust was well-cooked. I loved the crispy dark edges. 5/5 on cooking. Perfect amount of all topping. I’d prefer to have fresh ground beef rather than small crumble. Still excellent. 4/5 toppings. Pieces are cut VERY small. Thats cool, Its just a preference to have a 16″ za cut 3×4.

Overall, I recommend coming here for a nice meal whether you just don’t want to cook or you’re just a traveler who’s passing through town. I started as a customer here years ago as kid, then after a long time of being a customer I had decided to work here for a while. Enjoyed working here but have since moved on to bigger and better work so I’m now back to being a regular customer when I do visit. Food is almost always good and I used to go quite often when I had time to, but don’t get the chance to visit as often anymore as a customer. Regardless though I’ve always had great service here from the customer standpoint with good managers who always worked hard to keep happy customers. Prior to working here I went so often that they would generally recognize me by name/face and would get a fresh pizza going right away for me so I wouldn’t have to wait long for more on the buffet. The employees are often polite and professional (even the ones I no longer know that are newer employees) and get fresh food out upon request if it isn’t on the buffet already knowing they’ll need to put more out anyway. Buffet price can be a little high on certain days sometimes, but it’s still pretty reasonable when the food is kept hot and fresh. From a customer standpoint the only thing that could make the current prices better would be if the fountain pop was included with the buffet. Otherwise though I always enjoy grabbing a bite to eat here as well as joking/talking with some of the employees. It’s also great when I often see one or both of the owners here working hard right beside their employees! The professionalism is great as well as even after I had quit working here I can still walk right in and get greeted by name with a smile and no hard feelings or awkwardness! That’s the best part now when I still go here. Thanks guys for always getting me a great meal whenever I swing in for some lunch/dinner!

We love it here. Good pizza. Definitely dated, but clean nonetheless. Bathrooms are the same. Buffet prices are getting a little high though which has resulted in us visiting less frequently. If soda were included in the price it wouldn’t be so bad.

I hate leaving lower ratings for places that showed decent customer service. Unfortunately there was an unnecessary inconvenience that I will lay on the management because of communication issues. I would give the pizza itself, a 5.7 out of 10. Crust was cooked enough but not cooked to crisp adequacy. Not a Wisconsin guy, so the cheese hiding the meat to add that Wisconsin cheesehead touch, isn’t the scene for me. Taste of the cheese and meat wasn’t great but not bad so subpar to sum it up.
Also you should provide a portable credit card reader or make it known over the phone to prefer cash transactions for delivery. It’s a bit too much of a process to run a card transaction. Delivery guy was nice and I happily gave him a tip.
