Best home cooked style meat and veggies around! Always fresh and the veggies don’t taste like they opened up a can and warmed them up. Mac and cheese like mom made. Fried chicken is always crispy and tender. If you’re in the mood for something besides the meat and veggies, they serve a delicious chili cheeseburger as well.

If you want to eat local, Pete’s is the place to go. Their restaurant always has a nice and cozy atmosphere, and the food is fresh and delicious. While there is around a 20 minute wait time for food, once you get it it’ll all be worthwhile.

I came here before heading into work. I waited about 30 minutes for a chill cheeseburger plate half & half with onion rings cooked soft. First impression starts with customer service & the teen working the window was very rude. I checked my food upon arriving to work just to receive over cooked onions rings, cold fries, & a chill burger with no cheese. Needless to say my experience wasn’t a good impression

Ordered from Bitesquad which is not cheap, it’s about 2x the amount but I pay for the convenience. I ordered a hamburger steak which comes with fries, coleslaw and a salad. When I got my order the salad had rotten lettuce and burned French fries. I contacted Bite Squad who contacted Pete’s and they said bring it back we’ll remake it but no refund. I am not going all the way over there when I wanted it delivered. I eat out a lo

This is a little diner that is close to my heart. I’ve probably been there close to a hundred times. Never EVER had any issues with the food, or the service. I gave it five stars for atmosphere because, for a diner, it’s a simple place but everyone is so friendly. I eat out a lot and it’s one of my favorite places to eat in Greenville. Daily specials, fair pricing and just great regular food that’s always perfect. I’ll eat fancy food, but for regular down home country cooking it’s the best.

I came through the drive-through today. The person in the window saw I had two dogs and offered me two plain hotdog for the dogs. I was very touched. They love them. This in addition to great food and a great price will make me recommend Petes and come again.
