What a great Italian restaurant and pizza spot! We stopped in while passing through town and were honestly blown away. This is not your typical pizza place — everything felt elevated and thoughtfully done.

We started with the arancini, and wow… if you’ve never had them, this is the place to try them. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done — my Italian Nona would absolutely approve. We also ordered the arugula pizza, which was fresh, balanced, and so good. Next visit I’m definitely trying the Down the Hill pizza because everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.

I made sure to save room for tiramisu, and it did not disappoint A+ dessert.
The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, patiently answering all our questions with a smile.

If you’re looking for great pizza, authentic Italian food, and excellent service, this place is a must-stop. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends! Sorry, no photos we were too busy eating lol!!

We returned to this spot after being away for several years and were disappointed. The slices were not as good as I remembered. The cheese is low quality (and too much!), the sauce isn’t flavorful, and the crust, while crisp, tastes quite bland. The seating is fine and the service was solid, but I don’t think we’ll be returning soon. It’s not cheap enough for the quality of pizza that is now on offer here.

We met some friends there and mid way through the meal, we and other patrons saw several mice scampering around the restaurant.
We stopped eating and left shortly after that.

Under a medical recommendation I’ve decided to try a gluten free Margherita pizza, if you’re a celiac or gluten products may affect your health, 1st time doing so, it wasn’t bad but the taste is delicious although different which I can get use to it, the only issue that I found was that when ordering a Prosciutto topping it was very small and on the center for the most part instead of being spread out on the pie. The service was quick and good, real utensils and plenty of seating both inside and outside with 2 fire pits when it gets cold and a section for children so they can run and play.

Large selection of menu items including whole pies and pizza by the slice. Definitely New Haven style with thin chewy crust. Great taste, quick service, lots of seating inside and out.

I ordered a 14” cheese pizza with pineapple and banana peppers for pick up at 4:29 pm and the restaurant was not busy. After serving you could see it was 90% burned black on the bottom of the entire pizza. No seconds wanted, not edible. I called and spoke to Kya, one of the managers, and she refunded my credit card. I emailed her the photo of the pizza.
To the restaurant’s credit, I have never had a burned take out pizza from there before. And the customer service with Kya on the phone was quick after explaining this isn’t the normal char around the edges. If I order another take out pizza from Pete’s I will check the bottom before I leave.

Liars. Ordered a full fresh pie, came with slices that were obviously left over and put together to seem as if it was just made. Called and they just said oh, well, I can help if you want to come here and pick it up. I don’t have a car so that’s absolutely no help. Would not admit that they did it – the slices don’t even fit together! “Oh that happens sometimes when it’s double cut.” It defies physics after a double cut?? Never ordering this stale garbage ever again

Wow. That was in the TOP THREE of pizzas I’ve ever had. Flavor was great. Loaded fries were amazing. $83 was pretty strong but I assume that’s par for the area. Great pizza!!!

We enjoyed lunch here yesterday with my daughter and another family. The pizza is solid, though I don’t find anything distinctive about New Haven style in terms of the taste or texture (seems like a normal thin crust pizza!). I like that you can order a variety of pizzas by the slice and they have ample seating inside and put. It was a lovely afternoon so we sat outside. Also, bonus points for the natural sodas they have on tap, yum. Slight deduction that they oddly don’t serve their ice cream by the scoop, you have to basically buy a pint and sort it out yourself. Strange.

Finally great pizza! This place is 20 minutes from our house but well worth the drive. Delicious pizza with a substantial crust. Meat lovers had a slightly spicy sausage which gave it a nice little kick. And the amount of outdoor seating was great too. We called ahead for pickup and we’re able to carry our box to an outdoor table and eat there. Definitely recommend!
